I was able to connect to my server locally by creating the shortcut and setting the starting argument as "-EpicApp=PalServer", but I do not see it at all in the public Community Server listing. Is there something that I am missing?
Theoretically the files should update, though I have no idea how reliable that would be. I once tried hosting a website on Google Drive and it would never update properly even after I made changes to the code and file structure. It may need a more significant change to inform the cloud that it needs to update its files.
@@lego_minifig I could do everything, however the players have different saves for each computer, why is that? all the folders are in the same place for both computers in the one drive.
If you set up the port forwarding rules on your router it should work fine. The port will be added to the end of the IP address separated by a colon. Example [ip address]:[Designated port number] The default port for the game is 8211. You can set a port with a different number as well, but then you need to go into the server config setting and change the port number there as well. Setting the port forwarding rules is different for every router, in mine it is hidden under advanced options.
Thanks for the breakdown! I was getting tired of getting logged out of my account on my PC every time I launched a game on my Steam Deck.

Doesn't seem to work for me
Great Video, followed this and worked great, Today I got 1.5.0 now the server no longer shows as a community server. Any suggestions?
I noticed you put the files in One Drive.
If one drive updates the files, can different computers at different times run the server?
