Unfrosted is a 2024 American comedy film directed by Jerry Seinfeld (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay he co-wrote with his writing team of Spike Feresten, Barry Marder, and Andy Robin. Seinfeld and Feresten also serve as producers of the film alongside Beau Bauman, through their production company Columbus 81 Productions. The film stars an ensemble cast that includes Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Max Greenfield, Hugh Grant, and Amy Schumer. Christophe Beck composed the film's score. The film is loosely based on the true story of the creation of Pop-Tarts toaster pastries.
In this "tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen", cereal company Kellogg's attempts to beat their rival Post to the market with a revolutionary breakfast pastry in 1963 Battle Creek, Michigan.
The film was released in the United States on May 3, 2024, via Netflix. - บันเทิง
I love the argument “It’s not supposed to be good, it’s fun.” But … it’s neither.
Jerry doesn't care
I got about halfway through it…. I thought it would be a silly fun movie for a plane ride, but not even being stuck in a plane seat was enough to make me sit through it…
This comment is funnier than the entire movie.
I love Jerry, but this film was a miss for me too. Not unwatchable, but not memorable, a solid 5/10
Every opinion and fact stated in this review is absolutely correct. Jerry Seinfeld is a pos and so is this movie.
Posting this before watching the review.. Just watched this tonight with my wife, it's horrible. Barely a few chuckles, most of the time you are watching, mouth agape, as you try to figure out how this was ever made. Complete and utter garbage. So bad, it might sully the name of Seinfeld.
This movie was fine. They're not trying to win an Oscar they're just trying to entertain. Mission accomplished
No comedy is trying to win an Oscar. But Seinfeld, supposedly one of the comedic greats, wrote, directed, and started in this movie made one of the worst comedies in recent memory.
@@woozyguy9I loved it! It was hilarious!!!
comedies should be funny tho. this is just "ready player one" for boomers. if it helps make some alzheImers patient unlock a few happy childhood memories for 90 minutes tho i'm happy for them.
You people are why I go to 4 star yelp restaurants and I eat shit.
I have seen many positive reviews of this movie but I won't give it a chance after watching the trailer. Worst trailer ever.
Jerry is never good in any movie. Without a supporting cast of REAL actors he's just meh. Schumer is just awful. I got about 20 mins in and had to throw myself into a fire.
I tried so hard to like it. I was anxious to see it, set a reminder in the "Worth the Wait" list, and watched it the day it came to Netflix... well, started watching it. After 30 minutes I just couldn't anymore. I even think this movie was actually meant for my generation, Generation X. I definitely got every reference, but it didn't feel nostalgic, just painfully dull.
I had to scrub through the movie.. so lame. What was Jerry thinking!? He has been saying people are attacking Comedians.. he is single handedly ruining it.
I enjoyed Unfrosted. It wasn't a movie that took itself serious, its fun and entertaining. Not every movie has to be a CGI extravaganza. The art, wardrobe and sets looked amazing. The cameo by Don Draper and Roger Sterling was hilarious.
And Kennedy had me laughing
The monotone mumbler reviewing sounds like a person who loves to laugh.
And knows where to find them.
definitely wouldn't find them in this movie
Still you got 8 mins of "content" out of it all the same.About 3 mins repeatedly saying the words not funny..Edit yourself dude.
gotta make money somehow ;)
Hmmm. You chimed in saying Seinfeld, Schumer, and McCarthy are "always not funny" - so seems like you came in with an opinion already set in stone. It is a satire of 1960s culture, maybe you just aren't familiar with history. I laughed at your criticisms. I didn't think the film was anything great, but I don't regret watching it.
Im so confused why this is getting so much hate
@ErinnnnL I don't get it either. I guess people are envious of Seinfeld's wealth
It was great. A parody of the Cold War and subtle humor. It was kind of perfect
I wouldn't say "great" - but way better than this guy is saying. I enjoyed it. These young people don't understand satire anymore.
i understand satire completely, the problem here is that the satire isn't done well
I liked it
Luke is part of the ‘Far Left’ Jerry was referring to last week.
I enjoyed it, got some good laughs, just fun for me.
The frenetic, crazed recycling of footage from the film in this review sucked the wind out of it.
Co-wrote, not wrote.
Under the pen of Larry David Seinfeld is great, outside of that I've never cared for him. His stand up has never appealed to me. Maybe people will now realize how overrated he is.

There is only one syllable in film; it's not fill-um. And it's a movie not a film; stop being so pretentious. The movie does exactly what it intends to do; create good feelings in the audience that experienced the era and all its self righteous competitive sentiment. It was a time full of thick dick egos and hollow minds; it reflects our present times. If you didn't appreciate the well scented potpourri of well loved contemporary comedians in this period piece, perhaps it is because you are both an intellectual and experiential puppy. It is an amusing pastiche, not high art.
this movie does NOT generate good feelings
I agree the movie is crap. But your comments on other things is crap is well. Thumbs down.
lol you're one of those 'free palestine' weirdos ?
No he’s just not a 💩for🧠😵💫🤡
didn't know being against a genocide of people made me weird but ok lil bro
Wow, 'free Palestine' worked it way into a review about a silly Pop Tart movie
And you must be a Zionist degenerate. Funny how that goes 💁🏼♀️
