Trat is a sleepy little town but there are a few other things to see. The city pillar shrine as well as a few temples are what the locals will visit. There is also a black sand beach with mangroves that I saw on my last trip here. I made a video if you want to see it. @@gsomethingsomething2658 no idea about apartments but there probably is something. The town is very quite but has some very nice people. Enjoyed our stay there. Thanks for watching!
What an amazing video! Thank you bro. Heading to Koh Kood next February and decided to stay one day in Trat to explore this town. As I see n videos here in youtube the night market is the main spot to visit in Trat? :) All the food in this video look sooo yummy. And very cheap!
@@baur_berdeshev there isn’t much to do in the town other than see a few temples and the night market. Even with that it’s a nice stop to stay on your way to the islands. I prefer to stop in Chantaburi but Trat is still nice. Enjoy your trip to Koh Kut. It feels like Thailand 20 years ago there.
It’s a great little night market. I visited last night as I’m staying nearby at Baanrimnam. Amazing value food, and great atmosphere. Fried chicken for about 50p and large ice cold Leos for about £1.50. Perfect! And I didn’t see a single other foreigner.😂
Very good. Glad you enjoyed the market. The prices are very cheap there, even compared to Bangkok. Are you heading out to Koh Kut, Koh Chang, or just staying in the area?
Yes it’s open everyday. If you get there too late many places will close up if they don’t have many customers. It is a great night market with many things I’ve never seen before.
@@TonyYendle you will enjoy both of them. I will be posting some videos of Koh Kut over the next few days after I get them edited. I really had a good time on the beaches there.
@@endlessjourneytravels Thanks again I have 4 weeks to rome around on my own, Ive been to bangkok and Phuket already, what do you think I cannot miss? not big on tourist places.
@@TonyYendle if you have a month you will be able to pretty much see everything on the islands. One thing I’ve been trying to do is a snorkel trip around Koh Chang and Koh Mak but I have never been able to work it into my trips. Defiantly jump on a scooter and explore. The beaches are the highlights of both islands but the waterfalls and mangrove forests are great to see also.

Great to see. Noticeably cheaper than Bangkok and tourist areas. I wonder if there are cheap apartments to rent long term?
- Cheers.
