Thank you so much for your detailed and engaging review of the Rlaarlo XTS-F10! 🎥 The way you broke down the features, performance, and even the subtle details truly showcases your understanding of what RC enthusiasts value most.
Can you venture into large scale next. I'd love to give you lots of money for a 1/5 scale Omni Terminator, 1/5 scale of this, and a 1/5 scale 4x4 electric basher buggy. I'll accept a true 1/7 or 1/6 scale of any of these in the time between now and the 1/5 scale versions. 8s will be adequate but 12s is also great. Please and thank you.
@@boduke9428 Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us! We’ve received a lot of feedback regarding larger-scale models. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and support for Rlaarlo, and we’ll keep your suggestions in mind as we move forward. Stay tuned for more updates in the future!
The third version isn't a kit...it's a roller. It's probably, but without any electronics, and a clear body. Regarding the turn signals, from what we currently understand, the are possibly going to remove that function from the production units...but, honestly, that's not a big loss. The remainder of the light functions are supposedly remaining as they currently are. For the light buckets popping out, that seems to be a common problem. Instead of gluing then in place, a better idea might be to place small washers on the screws before screwing them through the body, and into the light buckets. Other that that, this is an outstanding RC, and could (outside of the AK-917 & AK-787) easily become their best-selling vehicle (at least, until a certain upcoming car is released). I've already got done upgrade parts heading my way, to which I plan to compare performance & handling, stock vs various amounts of the upgrade parts being installed. For an RC company that's only 3-years old, and an RC company that didn't release its first in-house designed RC until the company was over a year old, Rlaarlo is doing an OUTSTANDING job - pricing is excellent, WAY below the process of the competition); overall product quality is equal to, if not better than, the competition; and, now that the vast majority of replacement & upgrade parts are stocked here in the US, obtaining those parts is a lot faster.
I have been buying Traxxas and redcat since I was 15 and i loved them but compared to RLAARLO traxxas really has a lot of work to do cheap parts that always crumble and break..I have the terminator and it’s running a 4000kv motor on 4s it can do 80+ if i really wanted it to oh and it’s on stock gearing the only thing upgraded is the pinion it’s a 30T absolutely nothing has broken on this truck I even ran it into my car on accident 😳 took my mini max out first day and broke a control arm and it was dog 💩 out of the box but RLAARLO nah a work of art for the cheap 😮💨
Time to get out the gorilla duct tape and do some body reinforcement when mine arrives! Great review and yes, I’m getting tired of new vehicles not being available or just constantly sold out.
It is so hard deciding if to buy an RC after most of the reviewers got one for free & won't give their real & honest thoughts. If only companies understood it's not always the best way to advertise. So far I've watched about 15 videos on it, all the usual big channels & you can definitely tell they got it for free & don't want to risk getting more freebies lol. Your review was really good & it was honest so I've ordered one based on your review, only! 😊
Glad you mentioned the marketing, it's been a shambles really. It was announced almost two months ago, and they still only have pre-sales and a two week or so wait before they ship it still. Be warned, the hardware is rubbish and screws often strip, and they used shielded and not sealed bearings. Great out of the box, but it does have some issues I was hoping to see fixed after the Omni Terminator lessons they obviously didn't really learn.
This another great review. There was another reviewer who had the same problem with the rear lights. You probably know this, but just in case. They use red thread lock on the pinion set screw and the diff gears are different in the carbon version and the other rte version. The carbon version has spiral gears.
Could you make an updated vid on the D1RC Defender please? Like how its holding up. I just ordered one and I noticed it doesnt come with the Noble again.
True about sales make it sell it I got hosed last Christmas on the mini lmt never got it had to cancel still haven't bought it because of the experience 😊
If you Are already wearing out tires are there other brands that will work? Mainly I think having about 3 different tread options for different weather, would be fun also.
I love Rlaarlo and their vehicles. I despise their release strategy. They need to study Redcat. They announce and begin selling and shipping immediately. You gotta strike while the iron is hot. There have been multiple great trucks and cars announced and shipping already since this was first introduced to us. By the time customers get them in hand they're old news and the next 10 greatest things are already out. Speaking of which, anyone got details on what Arrma is gonna drop this week??
Bots, I mean, dedicated fans beat us for the first comments... Damnit. 😅 At least they're pretty and really supportive! I wander what those links on their channels go to... 🤔🕵️♂️
If you're looking for a street drifter the HNR Panther might be better. $230 on BG with same remote, 60A hobbywing ESC and same size motor as the carbon version. Hits 56mph somehow.
Very good review, honest and don't think you can buy anything else as good for the money... Think only one thing it lacks is inner body. What you said about the body being low is what every manufacturer does and kind off stupid and also think there are better solutions. For rlaarlo i probably put like 6mm tube on shock shaft and shorten front bumper like 6mm or something. Its looks vs usability off course but probably best example carisma m48s audi quattro. With such a long front damage to the body is a given. Keeping in mind that body is +100$ is my reason to pass on that one for instance...
Thank you for your honesty. The insane youtube hype over this car puts me off. Puts me off the car and the youtubers. This is the first video that sems objective. Perhaps it realy is that good. Not impressed with all the failed re-invention of the body clip. If it isnt actually any better then dont change it :)
I bought one of these roller kits for my son. It's awful. It very small, uses WAY too many 1.5mm screws. I bought the upgraded servo arm and mount, neither actually fit in the car. They use bushings for the front steering arms instead of bearings and spacers. Since they don't use the right spacers, they load up the steering support posts with locktite because you can't toque them or they bind. Yes they load up 1.5mm screw with threadlocker. BTW their policy is that if you open the box you can't return it, I asked. This is my first time trying Rlaarlo and it's my last. They went through a massive influencer 'free car' advertising effort so I am leaving this comment on as many as I can find.
My local hobby shop is 90 minutes away and last time I went there to buy a truck told me "you don't want a 4s Kraton. You need a Maxx". Coincidentally they didn't have a new version 2.5 Kraton but had several Maxx on the shelves.

Yes, a little reinforcement will go along way. Or putting som washers where the lights attach is a good idea too.
I've tried some liquid latex on one of my bashers and it's worked pretty well.
Great video. Honest and informative. Thankyou

Looking forward to there next release aswell.

As long as you have the space for it, it's worthwhile.
@RCReviewChannel words of wisdom Uncle Francis!
Love the lights
Great review, just subscribed to your channel.
Awesome and honest review 👍🏾💯
Thank you. Yes, I didn't hear a single weakness from all others.
Thank you for sharing a good video with a nice car! 💯👍👍
As usual a good review and a great model... my be inner fenders... Ciao!
Could you make an updated vid on the D1RC Defender please? Like how its holding up. I just ordered one and I noticed it doesnt come with the Noble again.
Not a bad idea. I still have mine.
The wheelbase is about 257mm but the width is a bit too wide to use scale body shells. It's for rally bashing...
That's good info
They’re allegedly releasing upgrades/option parts to narrow it down to a standard 190mm width
Take it to the skate park 😅 great review 🎉
Ahh, i don't have access to one for some reason. I should hunt for one.
@RCReviewChannel skate parks are rc killers lol. Found your channel a little while a go getting ready to watch your videos 😃😃
Great video!! How about a video comparison with Rlaarlo Xts F10 vs CEN Ford Puma? I would love to know your opinion
True about sales make it sell it I got hosed last Christmas on the mini lmt never got it had to cancel still haven't bought it because of the experience 😊
Yeah, stop screwing your best customers. Hype it but make sure it's available from Day 1 of announcement.
@RCReviewChannel agree 💯
If you Are already wearing out tires are there other brands that will work? Mainly I think having about 3 different tread options for different weather, would be fun also.
Are they limiter screws or droop screws?
What would you choose this model or hpi wr8 flux subaru?
I like this but can we get more than one body style? I like the body on the metal chassis.
Also the carbon version has spiral cut gears
Whats the best way to reinforce the light buckets?
Looks cool for sure.
It needs hella stickers.
@RCReviewChannel Hella yeah!😁

😆 I was thinking the same thing
let us know when you wanna run them against some other cars. I have a Slash rally car and Vu has a an HOI Subaru.
They should not have called it Carbon plate.
But still a very nice car.
Ahhh huhhh!! 🤟
So i meant to get this blCk wheel one but accidentally got the green wheel one are they the same speed?
No. Black wheel or carbon fiber version has bigger motor and higher amp esc. It'll be noticeable more powerful than the other.
@@boduke9428well that sucks I was hoping it was only a weight difference.

Good share, thank you.
That one is not as quick as the carbon fiber edition… I don’t understand why anybody that’s serious about RC would buy the metal version?
Biggest weakness is lack of chassis guards and wheel fenders - a bare minimum for a rally car.
Do you know of a company that makes rally cars with the "bare minimum" you've mentioned? At that(rlaarlo) price range?
@@anthonylim5120I mean there is only a couple.
@@voodooreptiles3553 can you name them? Just curious.
Rlaarlo will release a cover for the chassis. They mentioned it in a comment on TH-cam - I think it was at tomley's review.
@@anthonylim5120 Sure Traxxas, CEN, HPI, Tamiya and than lots of cheapo.
Overhyped? Never heard of it even, lol. It’s barely above a toy grade
