As for Batman, it's still Affleck and he's just as good here, as he was in BvS. The man has solidified himself as the best live-action Batman, until someone else can come along and knock him off that pedestal.
You can see batman got rid of the guns on the bat mobile so he has progressed from batman vs superman. when he said he "failed him in life and not going to fail him in death." So he has re adopted the no kill rule hence why he seems more like the batman. This is after batman v superman (in case you didn't know)

All of the trailers for this movie have been great in my opinion, and I love the path they are taking with the Joker. I can't to see it in theaters. My biggest concern for this film, however, is Will Smith as Deadshot. Now, I can't say that I've read a whole lot of Deadshot or Suicide Squad comics, nor can I say I know his character very well, but it seems to me that I'm seeing Will Smith on screen, and not a character. But I haven't seen the movie yet, so who knows? Margot Robbie or Jared Leto will still steal the show in the end, even if everyone around them does a stellar job.
