This has to be one of my favorite docs to ever come into existence. The passion and love that Treb has for what he does and how infectious his spirit is, truly fills my heart. He absolutely put a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat. Thanks to Joshua Charow and crew for creating and sharing this moving piece.

The creator of these masterpieces should be proud of their work. These are amazing. I think this is so wholesome because it’s people. Always thinking that it was machines and now finding out that it’s people is so moving because it’s just such a human experience to celebrate things together and the fact that it’s people bringing this huge part of the joy is just so wonderful.
The last shot is so beautiful. Treb's smile, along with all the confetti flying around him shows that he truly just wants to make people happy. I did leave with a tear in the eye and a lump in the throat. So excited to see all of your projects going forward!

Alright, so, I see everyone is discovering you rn, and tbh, I had no idea you were a passion project channel. I went to the comments, and I see EVERYONE is newly watching and you are responding, explaining your channel and giving thanks. This one was highly recommended by fellow commenters, so I went to your channel and was still somehow shocked to find that this is indeed clearly a passion channel. I'll have to watch your other videos now, because I loved this one too. I'm so glad the TH-cam algorithm blessed you because I didn't realize how cool you are until the second viewing. I figured I should add my two cents here as well since I'm not sure if I ever commented on the other video, and you certainly deserve it. Even if the views slow again, half a million on some videos is definitely not shabby at all. I think you mentioned in comments you lost your passion for a while, so I just wanted to say that it's ok. Love can come and go, but as long as you never forget how it feels, you'll be ok. I know I'll never forget the cleaning video and this one. ❤️

Your channel is criminally unknown. You deserve so much more viewership with your story and filming.
Thanks so much! I appreciate that
As soon as I saw the confetti for this year, it brought me back to this video. Very admirable work from everyone involved again in making the moment special. Thank you for this documentary.
Who litters 3,000 Pounds of Trash on Times Square By Hand Every Year?
Wow, this really looks like a full on production grade documentary. I never thought it would come from a channel so small. You're definitely one of the most underrated channels out there, and I know that's a cliché, but I really mean it. This quality of content needs a lot more attention.
That's a lot of trash on the streets
That last minute was the most cinematic thing I've seen in a while
Amazing story, but there has to be more talk of environmental consequences. You said the confetti is biodegradable but balloons? Not so much.
Absolutely. He seems like a good guy but I cannot fathom how much pollution and waste he is arguably responsible for.
latex balloons are 100% biodegradable
Remember the 1986 Cleveland Balloonfest? Same guy organized that debacle. Directly led to innocent deaths and millions in lawsuits against the city in addition to the envirionmental damage. This clown's whole life has been dedicated to throwing trash into the air and not caring about who cleans it up
Incredible story, beautifully put together. You managed to capture the history, community, personality and meaning in a very short amount of scenes. Brilliant.
So glad to see this channel getting the attention it deserves!! Congrats on 200k views!!
Finally it’s about time this channel blows up
love the 'Dave Letterman' Laugh!! What an awesome thing to be a part of..... Jealous? 100% Yes.....
He is one of the most under-appreciated Holliday heros
He made those small moments so magical
I was there the first year, 30 years ago. I still have a few pieces of the confetti in a box somewhere.
i like how the confetti boxes has written confetti on it.. and the font they choose to write the confetti word in feels like how the confetti feels like
What an absolutely beautifully crafted documentary about a wonderful man! I look forward to all of your future works.
This was best video I’ve watched in years. Everything from narrative to color was 10/10.
Thank you!
What a colorful experience! It's nice to know about people behind the scenes & how they prepare.
Beautiful, an absolute masterpiece. I wish you guys did a series of interesting jobs with people that are as passionate as this!
That last line he said got me "teary eye with a lump in my throat" simply awsome
Really love the cinematogrpahy, sound design and story telling. And that color grading was so good. Great Work!
The heart, magic and essence of quintessential NYE, the dreamiest of all the celebrations. Thank you for sharing this story, I had no idea and it just warmed my heart!
Wow I saw this on my FYP on TikTok. I followed over here. Such a beautiful touching wow documentary! So well done. It made me smile, cry, gave me goosebumps. Thank you for sharing his story with the world!
All the volunteers get just as much joy as this man. 👏👏👏👍
I read the comments before watching and half way through I still didn't understand what there was to cry about.....well I started crying at the end when the confetti was thrown lol. Good video, good delivery.
