The valve core that came with my counteract beads did not fit in my TR543 metal valve stems. These valve stems were original equipment on our Winnebago class C with ALCOA rims. The red screen/tip gets stuck preventing the core from being depressed. You cannot add add air to the tire. Worse, the filter tip remained stuck in the stem when the filtered core was removed. I could not put a standard core in. I had to drive it to the shop with just a metal cap holding the air in my tire.

To fix it, the tire had to be removed from the rim AGAIN and the stems replaced using TR544. The TR5xx number is engraved on the stem.
