      Totally agree. A "product" made for a problem that doesn't exist. I will go with my static weights especially on my ZX14. There is no way I would trust this on a vehicle that can do 300kms on 2 wheels. These thing really were all racing vehicles would be using them. Garbage.

      @@kellygrant4964they actually work decent for certain applications. I find they do a better job on truck tires. I still spin balance cars and motorcycles. I've got a computer balancer and still use beads on some tires.

    • @gavins5423
      @gavins5423 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I know a bit about vibration because I studied Vibration Analysis a few years back. At the 60-70 mph speed your wheel is probably in a state of resonance which means it's vibrating in resonance or harmony, with something else in your car suspension system which is probably a spring. In a similar way that when a singer that emits a sound that matches the 'natural frequency' of a wine glass and the glass vibrates and will 'ring' in harmony. If you tap a wine glass and make it 'ring' it's ringing or vibrating at it's natural frequency. If the 'non ringing' wine glass is exposed to a sound that matches it's natural frequency it will ring in harmony which is what the singer is inducing. When a vibrating object is in resonance the sound patterns are going through a phase shift of 180 degrees which causes violent vibrations that can eventually shatter the glass. So what's happening with your wheel at 60-70 mph it's in resonance and therefore vibrating violently, but as you speed up it's coming out of the range of resonance because it's rotating and vibrating faster but the vibration isn't in synch with something else (ie;-spring) that's in resonance with the wheel vibrations. If you kept going faster and faster there's a good chance that it will come into resonance again with either the spring or something else. Vibrations will work in harmonics, or 'multiples of', frequencies such as 2 times and 4 times etc. I hope that explains what I think is going on with your wheels.

    I have 2 questions 1st I have 2003 buick park avenue that I want to put snow tires on. I have eliminated the air suspension and opted for regular shocks in back. Tire size is 225-60-16 will your beads work on that size car and tire? 2nd How do you remove these electric static beads from one tire and reuse them? Is that possible? Or are they stuck inside tire for life. I want to be able to go back and forth from snow tires in winter and radials in summer.

      No cant go back n fourth every time you re mount a tire unless u put it back exactly %100 where it was when its balanced you will need to re balance regardless if you use beads or weights

    • @Gas_n_Gears
      @Gas_n_Gears ปีที่แล้ว

      My sweeper has a canister that catches everything, so I'll just break the tire bead down and vacuum the beads out. Shop vac would work too.
      When you change tires just put the correct amount of beads in the new tire, they'll go where they're needed.

    Hate those beads. My tire shop mechanic didn’t have a proper balancing machine so he poored those beads inside my Lexus and they didn’t do anything to help. My suspension is just too soft for those. Had to take all of them out and then road force balance my wheels it handles like a dream now but it took a lot of work to take those damn beads out. When they don’t know what they’re doing that’s what happens. Plus there’s tpms sensors inside my tires those would have got destroyed if I kept riding with the beads.

    If u use common sense and think about what he just said makes no sense first bumps when u hit a bump ur tire compresses them beads are not gonna stay in one spot ontop of that static electricity discharges when it touches metal or gets grounded well its inside of a metal wheel so how's that work the only 100% truth about balancing beads is that they don't work and have been proven not to work and cause more damage to ur tire countless times
