Need your help on grow light height settings. I have (4) bulb, T-5, 48” - 5,000 lumens per bulb, 6500K. Heights are all over the place on the internet. People have told me as low as 2 inches from the top to as much as 12 inches. What I believe is a major problem is the distance to the top of the planter at close distances. Soil temps are well over 90 degrees, cooks the young plants. So it’s not all relative to distance. Soil temp consideration is a must. Once the plants are 4 inches high I can keep the lights closer. Your thoughts?
