Nice design! 👍 I'm just curious about mice/rats and similar pests - don't they get in your compost? Wouldn't it be good to have some metal fence around the bin? Anyways, I'm doing the same design in spring myself, I think 🤔
The best video ever 👍🏻
Great video!
Thank You!
Thank You!
Thanks!
Great video! After watching several videos, I’ve decided to go with your design!!! I’m so excited! 😊
What about sunlight???
such a hot guy :)
Thanks for sharing - you spoke clearly, took your time, and let me know exactly what I will need before starting Very helpful.
Do you have step by step instructions written anywhere?
Thank you! I’m new at composting. So happy I found your video!
Christian Slater is a gardener?
This gave me an idea to just add worm castings to the potting mix.
Very informative. ❤❤ new sub here.
What soil amendments do you use? Do you use something else?
I really like your garden bed and wood support setup that goes up. Can you do a video on that? How your cedar boxes are put together and how the vertical supports are put together? and are they staked to the ground at all or is that not necessary since it has the entire box to weight it down?
A great way to break down big chunks of material (soil, peat moss, etc.) or a great way to mix soil is to use your drill (hammer setting if available) with a paint mixer.
❤ watching from Nigeria
Excellent presentation!!
Great job with the video!
Your hummingbirds are wonderful
Thank you for great video ! I did not understand. Can I use the soil of last year ? I will mix it with fertilizer.
PLEASE HELP SIR.... I am first time gardener, it's already 20th of July today (and living in germany) but my tomatoes from my seedling pot were already 4 feet high but just today my plan to transplant into the ground without transferring before into another bigger pot. Can I still succeed my 12 tomato plants in the ground? Can they still have fruits even we are in July? I have on hand a potassium fertilizer were I planned too to pour it into the ground before planting to the ground...is it okay please? 3rd, what are your suggestions and advices so I wouldn't be discouraged to become a gardener through my tomato plants PLEASE HELP??
greetings from the afterlife i took a chig whenever he said "transplant tomato seedlings" and by minute 2 I entered a coma
Wow, excellent presentation! Wonderful teacher.❤
Interesting! I'm making batches of sauce too as I have needed to do something with my tomato surplus. I don't have a pressing tool like you have but I'm making it work. Great tutorial!
We do a once-over on our garden every evening so we're able to catch bugs before they do major damage. Like you, I'm squeamish about handling icky green caterpillars :) I saw a dude on Fear Factor eating them like it was nothing as part of the stunts. I hear another pest, I think it's called the tomato fruitworm, will bite you if handled...yikes. My husband picked these monsters off and fed them to our chickens. I also observed my grandmother picking them off her tomato plants too. They'll go after anything in the nightshade family. But I will use Bt before anything else :)
Thank you for the info. I really appreciate it. It was very helpful.
Very Cool. I changed up my tomato's string method similar to this too. Always cool to see other gardeners methods. I might steal some of your bury the string technique here.
Another great video. I plan to follow your directions next week.
This is my first year growing peppers in a container so I followed all of your instructions in this video. My plants are the bigger, healthier, and with more fruit than I could have imagined. Thank you so much.
Excellent video: clear and informative. Thank you for thoroughly explaining how to install the soaked hose, providing the best options, and including product links
I have a 59 foot garden. Idk about this.
I’m confused. Why did you clip off a vine with all those flowers. Wouldn’t they yield cucumbers?
Thanks man, only video I needed.
👍👍👍👍
how high did they grow?
Love your recipe,simple and clear,easy to do.Thanks a million.
Do you leave suckers that are higher up on? I'm guessing you cut off that sucker because it was lower on the plant and would touch the dirt? It's sad to discard so many flowers (potential fruit)!
Hi Riley! Did you eradicate the nutsedge successfully with your molasses compost tea drench??
I just harvested mine, two at the time. The leaves I cook in the soup. Love to eat them raw with the skin on! Thank you for your video
Sorry also wondering... The nylon netting is enough to hold up large fruiting tomato plants even? Or do you find the nylon sags or pulls down at all?
What direction are your trellis orientated? Noticed you have tomatoes on the back of the bed and zucchini in front so I'm assuming the side supports are on the east and west side of th bed?
The beds/trellis are facing south.
Glad I came across your video 🙂 I was about to install a metal trellis to try and vertically grow mine. I think I'll try this!
Riley you are most helpful. Thank you!!! What do you use for mulch in your garden? I haven't found the video on how you made your climbing trellis, but I'm looking! Thanks again!
I use hardwood mulch that they sell locally here at Lowes.
Do you add any additional fertilizer to the Miracle Gro potting soil.
😃🎉 Excellent I subscribed to your channel 🙏
many thanks
Good stuff!
