Yeah, D/D/D risks losing Caesar (the deck's best payoff) for the same reason, since Konami hates banning new broken cards. But the brain rot is real and I have witnessed people arguing against Sharvara's limit to 1 (two/three copies gives Unchained access to Caesar), despite the fact Sharvara is an insane card even without Caesar as part of the equation. Calamity is a different story though: it does not get summoned, even within its own archetype, so it's irrelevant to Resonators.
Beatrice isn't just being banned for snake eyes. It's gonna be banned for being so generic degenerate. Things like sending rollback and a trap floodgate Or just being on demand foolish burial to combo under Beatrice deserves to go as a super busted card and just a better lavalval chain
Beatrice has deserved a ban for a while now, and will only get stronger as time goes on and stronger grave effects get printed. It was held back by being (kinda) hard to summon, but if the 6 pools get bigger, it’s gonna need to join its cousin Lavaval Chain in the ban list.
Modern yugioh is just what deck plays through hand traps the best while playing solitaire, banlist won’t do anything to the game, because after a ban a new deck will come out that plays solitaire just as good if not better, at this point people just spending a lot of money to play different types of solitaire:)
I’m of the opinion we just hit every snake eye starter. Since they love playing non-engine so much, let’s see how they enjoy drawing into them with 0-1 Ash, 1 Poplar, 1 OSS, 0 WSS, 1 Diabelstar, and 1 Bonfire. Oh right, Fiendsmith. Okay, Flamberge to 0.
Yes, card games are SUPPOSED to have some luck based factors. Yugioh players have been insanely spoiled by how disproportionately consistent the game has become. I hate most floodgates as much as anyone else, but none of them are breaking games at 1. MONSTER floodgates are a different story, especially ED ones because they can be brought onto the field through engine, not draw/luck, and thats garbage game design. But for most of the trap card floodgates, they are mostly fine at 1. No one complains about TCBOO or Gozen anymore because ghey are now niche win-cons that can still sometimes be outted, not consistent game pieces you can almost guarantee to get one of if you side enough of them in. Just wish Skill Drain would join the limited listm

5:15 it’s insane to me how Beatrice is legal because a card like lavalval chain is BANNED and it’s less good than Beatrice Lavalval chain as a spell speed ONE can send any card from deck to GY (so only on your turn) Beatrice as a spell speed TWO can send any card from deck to GY (both players turn) it’s actually ridiculous how Beatrice is still around
I think the big difference between the two is the materials required at face value. Chain requires 2 level 4s, a fairly simple task compared to Beatrice's 2 level 6s. That said, with Fiendsmith coming out and the ease with which they can produce level 6 materials, Beatrice becomes that much easier to summon.
Prior to Fiendsmith, not many decks could make Beatrice. Tear had to include multiple spots in main and sometimes ED to access it, for example. TONS of decks could summon a rank 4, giving you effectively a foolish burial at 2 for many decks that can use it. It may be fine to come back at this point, but maybe not because an extra deck rank 4 foolish is still REALLY strong, especially as a soft OPT and with modern card design.
@@grodon909 that’s not what I’m saying. I’m not saying chain should come back as it’s broken. I’m also saying that Beatrice should be banned too. I'm gonna be honest, I'm of the opinion that the banlist is in far more need of a drastic shake up than ever before. Part of the reason Konami keeps doing these tiny nothing banlists is because the list itself is so clogged at the limited and forbidden levels, most of which is Dust Cards who are only there for one of two reasons: 1) because they were powerful ages ago but have since dropped off but nobody can be bothered to unban them, or 2) due to problematic text that could be fixed with Erratas, but then people complain about it.

No other board breaker offers this much removal, with so little cost to the user, on both turns, and with so little counterplay by the victim.
Apollosa doesnt need to get a ban. Fleur and borrel are generic with no down side. Appo after 1 negate you more than likely made her smaller than most normal summons. As you rarely make her with 4 mat.
Probably not healthy for the game that bodies just becomes negates, because makes all the endboards the same, no matter how easy it is to get rid of it by battle
Counter. Baronne has 1 negate, Appo has 3-4 and multiple can be used each turn. She is also as generic as the other 2 as she just requires 4 monsters or the equivalent in links. Almost any deck can do that and mostly easier than getting a tuner and non-tuners who equal 10 stars on the field.
@@moonjelly5 Appo is also a noob trap. She isnt as powerful as she seems on paper. Many times not making her is actually better. Take lets say pendulum because they love their negates. Pendulum is able to end with a field nuke, graph for more pops, end punisher, and a S:P That provide more than an Appo and one more negate.
As a Zombie Stan, loosing Lord mill dragon hurt. Please Mr.Konami don't take away Foolish lady, not just as we're getting an actual good lvl6 for Ghost fusion. Not counting Garura.
Honestly, I am perfectly fine with D Barrier and think it should have links too. I do play decks that get screwed by it (like Swordsoul) but I do think it is a fair card.
Personally, I think that just banning flamberge fixes snake eye. Banning any of the level 1's just means people will pivot to more copies of the other ones. Say you ban Ash, people will play more oaks and birches and find a work around. Banning OSS just makes the deck less consistent and splashable, but they will still have one card combos up the ass. If you hit flamberge it shuts down all the unfair plays like going plus 5 off masq, it shuts off the normal masq play, it makes their link climbing a lot harder, etc. Genuinely, if you ban flamberge, the deck is still playable and fine as an engine, but it isn't absolutely broken like it is now.
konami does not allow the banlist poeple to do their job, so it likely wouldn't happen but beatrice should be banned and replace with a burning abys specific retrain and snake eyes need an actual hit. fenir should also be erratad to exclude it self as a search target.
It would be funny if instead of hitting Beatrice, they doubled-down in keeping it and brought back Lavalval Chain... I mean, I wouldn't complain, but it would be funny
I think I:P is very likely gonna get banned now that RC2 has come and gone. It's not only one of the Four Horsemen as you said, but she's like... 60% of the reason why Snake-Eye is Tier 0. It's important to note that OCG is hitting S:P Little Night because they don't like her interaction with I:P Masquerena, so there is a foundation for a Masq ban there. It's such an obvious hit and the only people who don't want it are those who'll argue that their Timmy Decks will be worse without it. Like if she wasn't so generic she'd be fine. But as is, Snake-Eye proved that she's simply too good to have around
I personally think that if ash, popular, spiils and flameberge all went to 1 the deck might might still be playable as an engine, but lose its threatening status. Just a personal hunch, put away the pitchforks
Game has been relying so much on generic extra deck monsters that a lot of decks wont be able to compete if they were to start banning generic extra deck monsters. It would be cool if it happened but the process will be long and difficult, probably a few months of torture playing this game.
People always say things like they shouldn’t do a banlist before a wcq but I think that’s exactly when they should be banning. Test their skills as deck builders as well as players.
I feel like floodgates like TCBOO, Anti-Spell, Rivalry, Skill Drain, etc NEED to stay available in some quantity given the current state and speed of Yugioh. Without cards like them the top meta deck(s) just run away and leave any kind of rogue deck desperate for SOMETHING to respond to these ridiculous combos.
About snake-eyes deck hit Why we don't ban snake-eyes poplar? The card is literally like the tearlament kitkalos, it's the reason why the snake eyes has become really good Then both diabellstar and snake-eyes is playable in a fair way At this point if snake-eyes are not getting hit, just unlimit psy-frame gear gamma
Fenrir will get a QCR in the tins. He's not getting hit yet. Plus Arise-Heart is banned in TCG. Kashtria isn't so much of a problem here. Arise-Heart is still Playable in OCG and Master Duel.
Do I think I:P should get banned? No, not yet. Do I want it to happen? Hell yeah, if she gets banned I can be incredibly petty about it to one individual who shall not be named but they used all caps at me on Discord!
Sanctifire definitely does come up in branded without puppet, it's our only way to deal with evenly matched as we don't really have in engine negates (other than mercourier). It is a big problem of course and ideally I would love an errata saying that whatever is summoned to the opponent has its effects negated, but likely won't happen :/
Tbf evenly being useless against branded feels pretty bad as well, that card never felt like a complete blow out for branded, but also did enough to actually be justified as a breaker against it. Besides evenly there's not much that actually lets you break their board, best options are like droplet turning off a mirror jade banish and another monster or gy removal on branded in red shutting off 2 interactions. Not bad trades but evenly really does just let you deal with the truly massive boards branded can make when they fully extend into it.
@@albotski1253 it is, but as a 1 for 1 trade against evenly + costing all but one monster effect and you having to gamble set it instead of branded in red isn't the greatest (card itself is good ofc, just the trade for evenly is meh)
@@magycyan9828costing all for 1 effect? You can end on Red using Kit Also in InFo Branded gets Light and Darkness Dragon Lord so it doesn't even care about 3 Evenlys, not just 1

A lot of people will not like this pitch but, Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG needs a major Forebitten/Limited list shake up. Not just ban, limit, semi limit or unlimit some cards, but TCG should follow the same F/L Format like in Duel Links where you can only carry ONE card from the LIMITED list, 2 cards from the SEMI-LIMITED list and 3 cards from the LIMIT 3 list, in your MAIN DECK. Then reduce the deck size from 40 to 60 to 30 to 50 instead. Yes, this method kills the current card pool/combination but this will also promote a new card combination in the game. That way, overpowered cards are kept in CHECK.
Why get rid of Sinful Spoils when you can get rid of Flamberge and/or Snake-Eye Ash? Let the non-Snake-Eyes FIRE decks have their toy, while killing Snake-Eyes pure and variant decks. The problem with Snake-Eyes isn't that Fire King, Rescue Ace, and T.G. can access their Level 1 FIRE monsters..
Think it would be interesting if they banned all generic extra deck monsters and pushed more for running more from an archetype than just a bunch of engines with generic goodstuff.
Think Konami learned from halq and ash blossom that if everyone is playing it that means more people are buying product that contains it. Apo will get banned the next 2 lists just watch
Fiendsmith make Snake Eyes much stronger, they need to hit Snake Eyes and a big one because it's too late to start small consistency hits And banning Beatrice is not enough since Fiendsmith Engine also can be used to make Caesar / Appolousa without Normal Summon
It’s not even funny how big a target Beatrice has on her head to be banned.

Pendulum is able to end with a field nuke, graph for more pops, end punisher, and a S:P
That provide more than an Appo and one more negate.
If they ban Apollousa Pend players are not going to be happy. We've been screwed over enough as it is since MR4.
No no, please, I can’t handle another ban list that removes a card I was barely using in some D tier deck, I just want to run the funny zombies man!
As a Zombie Stan, loosing Lord mill dragon hurt.
Please Mr.Konami don't take away Foolish lady, not just as we're getting an actual good lvl6 for Ghost fusion.
Not counting Garura.
Errata D. Barrier to incorporate links too and I'll stop crying about D. Barrier....
Honestly, I am perfectly fine with D Barrier and think it should have links too.
I do play decks that get screwed by it (like Swordsoul) but I do think it is a fair card.
Please makes more yapping content like this fartfa, i need some noise in the background while working
Totally agree, the crazy part is the deck will still be like a tier 2 at least
Christmas music singing in June was a jumpscare. Luv u farfa
I want some of whatever the people thinking OSS is banned are smoking
I just hope they don't kill Purrely like in the OCG🥲
Where is electrumite? card is at 1 in OCG and MD and pendulum does fat NOTHING, just let us have it already
Why does his necklace have that symbol? Does it emits Bluetooth signal or something?
With almost all the floodgates getting limited or banned would like to hear your thoughts on Master Peace coming back
I feel like Accesscode needs to go to. So many decks just devolve into summoning it and winning that turn.
You gonna talk about the new MD bankist
Why is Prank Kid Meow Meow Mu still banned?
Seeing as I just bought a purrely deck, I expect sleepy and delicious hit. Because Konami never fails to hit decks I play
konami does not allow the banlist poeple to do their job, so it likely wouldn't happen but beatrice should be banned and replace with a burning abys specific retrain and snake eyes need an actual hit. fenir should also be erratad to exclude it self as a search target.
Let the Beatrice ban go, Farfa. Maybe its time to play something actually better than hard copium BA.
Nah we need Nib with all these funky decks coming out. They gotta plenty of options to play around it if they want, not game warping
It would be funny if instead of hitting Beatrice, they doubled-down in keeping it and brought back Lavalval Chain...
I mean, I wouldn't complain, but it would be funny
Phobia by Breaking Benjamin in the background BASED
I think I:P is very likely gonna get banned now that RC2 has come and gone.
About snake-eyes deck hit
Why we don't ban snake-eyes poplar? The card is literally like the tearlament kitkalos, it's the reason why the snake eyes has become really good
Then both diabellstar and snake-eyes is playable in a fair way
At this point if snake-eyes are not getting hit, just unlimit psy-frame gear gamma
Fenrir will get a QCR in the tins. He's not getting hit yet. Plus Arise-Heart is banned in TCG. Kashtria isn't so much of a problem here. Arise-Heart is still Playable in OCG and Master Duel.
Ban Flamberge Dragon for the love of god, get rid of that annoying ass dragon
Do I think I:P should get banned? No, not yet.
Do I want it to happen? Hell yeah, if she gets banned I can be incredibly petty about it to one individual who shall not be named but they used all caps at me on Discord!
I think she's infinitely more problematic than Baronne and Savage ever were. She can enable so much degeneracy and summoning.
Man said prosperity 😭😂😂😂
I have really bad news for Farfa
Sanctifire definitely does come up in branded without puppet, it's our only way to deal with evenly matched as we don't really have in engine negates (other than mercourier). It is a big problem of course and ideally I would love an errata saying that whatever is summoned to the opponent has its effects negated, but likely won't happen :/
Brightest, Blazing, Branded King is a negate
You can end on Red using Kit
Also in InFo Branded gets Light and Darkness Dragon Lord so it doesn't even care about 3 Evenlys, not just 1
@@babrad post INFO is different, true, but currently you either have a cracked hand or you use up way too many resources on evenly (if you even play blazing king / searched it) if you don't use sanctifire
Appoulsa shouldve been banned after its first reprint. The card’s existence pretty much MADE Nibiru Nessacary.
This guy didn't even mention about "Heavy Storm" to limited... *(smh)*
D.Barrier/shifter I don’t believe should be banned. That’s observed 🤣
The crazy thing is most yugitubers such as yourself are close to Konami yet refuse to call out the insanity Konami creates.
Think it would be interesting if they banned all generic extra deck monsters and pushed more for running more from an archetype than just a bunch of engines with generic goodstuff.
i:p masq has been a problematic card, especially today's format with snake eyes.
Why konami is not banning her yet is beyond me.
She's lore relevant to S:P and is made to combo with her. She's selling AGOV
Because be fr the card itself isnt the problem
Its flamberge and sp
But sp doesnt deserve a ban anyway , yet
ip is a fine card, you just suck
@@superpolymerization4169
IP isn’t the problem card, but I feel every degenerate Link strategy that has existed, she’s always been a part of.
Think Konami learned from halq and ash blossom that if everyone is playing it that means more people are buying product that contains it. Apo will get banned the next 2 lists just watch
Ban sanctifier ignore dbarrier and heat wave seems legit
Fiendsmith make Snake Eyes much stronger, they need to hit Snake Eyes and a big one because it's too late to start small consistency hits
And banning Beatrice is not enough since Fiendsmith Engine also can be used to make Caesar / Appolousa without Normal Summon
