I heard UI design jobs are suitable for people who are good at design and graphics, while UX design jobs are suitable for people who like facing users. Is that true??
This is totally true but both of them must know about UX. But what a UX designer does is recapitulate data(first made by a UX Researcher), User Testing, create archetypes, and make the architecture for the web. Looks for insights to create solutions and prototypes in low fidelity. What a UI does, is create the high fidelity wireframes and the final design that must follow the guide style of the brand/product (color, typography, sizes, etc). Also must follow the consistency of the digital product or products(components & buttons). Creates UI kits & design systems if is necessary, animate prototypes(also UX designer can do that) and creates illustrations (but not as a specialist in that roots). Hope it helps you.
