I spent $150 winterizing and another $150 dewinterizing my airstream - first year of owning - as I was told by the dealer that any error could result in expensive repairs to the tankless. . This makes it pretty clear to be doing it myself in the future. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Hi Cynthia, glad the video was helpful. Yes, the process is similar just different water heater systems. Once you open the line drain valves underneath then you do need to make sure they are closed. If you don’t and start putting water into you system through a city water connection or fresh water tank, the low point drain valves will allow water to drain instead of flowing through your system to the sink or shower.
