I am a 15 year old girl who does in fact have Tourette Syndrome. I do have it severe. I’ve been in ambulances, wheelchairs, and I even have to sometimes walk around with oven mittens on my hands and thick padding on my head because I punch myself, and hurt myself in many different ways severely. I have vocal tics, physical tics, uncontrollable laughing, crying, and i even collapse due to a tic. Some of my tics include holding my breath, yelling out horrible things to people, flipping ppl off, hitting, punching, blinking, head turning, tapping, weird noises, collapsing, and I often get “tic attacks.” Those are what appear to be seizures, but aren’t actually. While I get them, I can’t talk, breathe, or move because it’s like 100 tics at once. I do have many more tics, but I’m not naming them all. I just thought I’d share this because mine is as severe as it can get, and many people may not be familiar with this type of it. My mother cries, seeing me on the floor with nothing she can do. Yes, we often look at the funny side of it, bc that’s how we cope. My mom wants me to upload video, and educate people, but I refuse to. So I thought I’d just leave this here. I hope everyone has an amazing day 👋
