Thank you JP as always. I appreciate the tip on the square vs. triangle vs. circle sensor. Use the circular ones, triangles are temporary and squares are usually inaccurate. I love these updates!
That was the control burn they did around the Conor. The main of the fires wasn’t there yet. 0:50 you see the finger and island that was the main of the fire pushing to the control burn. The two Hotshot crews and an engine did a good job getting to the two spot fires. There was two helicopters working the spot fires with water and a retardant bucket drops. They were working that all day. On the 28th we were setting up pumpkins for a mark 3 pumps for sprinkler. This was are day 14th on the wapiti fire. Previously we were on the Flat Fire then Demob from that fire to the wapiti pt2. On the August 26th we had an air show putting in retardant lines by Large tankers, VLAT’s (Very larger air tankers)
