Chris, congratulations on 100 weeks/episodes of "clean out" on your emergency storage shed. I really appreciate that you share every box & not just the those that might garner more views. Four more weeks until 2 years, crazy how time moves forward! Slow & steady does win the race, especially, when you are enjoying the process (i.e. sorting the bits & pieces.) Best to you & Christine in 2025.
@@TheUltimateRecycler Good question lol, I'm only ten episodes in on the bike so... I've got to catch up on your Ebay series too, I've got a fair bit of stuff to sell!
I didn''t find it boring Chris. Like to know something can be done with all the little bits and pieces. No need for a hardware shop in town if you are there.
It's always disappointing to me how much nice hardware I toss because I have no space. You are makinig 25 times over shred price for these things and probably at least 5 times cheaper than what someone would pay at Bunnings so it's a great win all around! Long term goal for me to find a way to save and market this stuff.
@ our tv lost picture a couple of days ago. After watching you fix tvs we decided to try and fix it instead of throwing it out. We have ordered the part we think will fix it from EBay. We are crossing our fingers that it will work. Thanks for all your videos!
Part 100 !!, wow, no wonder I don't get much done, I'm just sitting here watching you get things done; but I must admit, it is more relaxing and enjoyable. Next. 👍
Congrats on the century Chris. Sorry I’m late to the video. Been hectic around here. May 2025 be happy and peaceful to the 3 C’s and prosperous as well. Good health guys. Cheers.
Our recycle bin only allows plastic bottles that take screw on lids. Fortunately, we have a drop-off in town where we can take all the other assorted plastics like sour cream tubs or packing bits. I save them up and stop about once a month.
That seems like a reasonable system Cynthia. Our recycle bins are for container plastics, glass bottles, aluminium/steel cans, paper & cardboard - all mixed together! The trouble is many people just don't care and put all sorts of rubbish in! It must be a real challenge at the recycling facility!
The knobs you might wanna check to see if they’re uranium and will glow under a black light and also congratulations on the hundredth video. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! Nah, they are green painted porcelain rather than green glass. I've sold them already @ $10 for the jar lot. If they were uranium glass, I would have ebayed them 😊
Thanks Chris, 100 episodes, doesn't time fly, I wasn't with you right from the start but have enjoyed the journey ! I'm with you, I could (and do) sort hardware for hours it is strangely satisfying, have you come across "Reggy on the road" channel, he has an amazing collection of hardware and has featured on national TV because of his obsession ! Btw did you hear me ? I was telling you "Chris, I reckon that's gasket material" I have a roll very similar used for fixing my old mower carb. PS. I've just checked my viewing history and I picked you up at episode 24, so thanks for the fun !
Thanks for joining in Andy! Sorting stuff in general is quite satisfying I find! Nope, I haven't seen Reggie - will have a look. Yeah, I heard something, but just thought it was Coco snoring somewhere! 🤣
Congrats on No.100!! Hmm if you printed some 'Magic Blues Smoke' labels for those empty jars along with novelty storage instructions perhaps you'd be able to sell those empty jars with value added!?

Thanks Dudley, best wishes back to you from us! Slow & steady for sure - in fact 'steady' is the secret! Consistent effort always reaps rewards! 👍😊
It wasn't boring at all! I enjoyed it. 👍
It's great that you keep so many hardware items in your shop. I bet the locals appreciate it.
Thanks Dee - yes, they do. And tourists who don't want to have to drive 30 minutes to get some basic hardware! 👍
A milestone moment in the storage shed saga. Well done!
Thanks Doc! How's that bike coming along? I wonder if I can finish my shed before you can ride it down the street? 🤔🤣🤣

I would definitely pay more for those green knobs. Congrats on 100, with still quite a lot more to come, which makes us happy.
Yes, a lot more to come for sure. I've sold the knobs already 👍😊

Thanks Katrina. Yeah, it is often all of the small bits & pieces that just get tipped into the bin - but I get pretty good value from them!

Wow 2 years! That is commitment.
I do like to stick to a plan!! 👍😀

@@digitalfox777 I'll cross mine as well! 🤞Good on you for having a go! 😀😀
Your wife sent me here, lol. That was actually fun, thanks for sharing.
Ah, great! Thanks for dropping in Janet! 😊👍
CONGRATULATIONS Chris 🎉 maybe another 100 to go we will be here watching.
There could be more than 100 Wayne - but who's counting? 🤣🤣
Well done for getting to 100!! 😃
Thanks Rebecca! 😀

@@TheUltimateRecycler I'm not sure Chris, you might be be too ruthless and get rid of stuff. 😲🤣🤣

You are the "Nagambie Hardware Hub" or "Nagambie Fix-It Supplies". Have to add it to your advertising out front!
Yep, I could almost do that! Also, the word is getting out that I fix lots of stuff! Seems I need a few extra days each week!
corrugated nail..or wiggly nails . old ones are much much better than new rubbish
Congrats on the 100...100 more easy
Yep, probably at least 100 more! 😲

Haha I was the woman with the idea for a plan!
I think it would be very motivating (haha and interesting for me!)
Also I was very pleased to get a shout out! 😍 long time viewer here
Haha, thanks Emma! It is a great idea and I will follow up on it at some stage 👍😊
Thanks for your long term support 😊😊

Yes, if they are uranium glass they would be a good item for ebay. Uranium glass extremely popular now.

Wow 100 videos. My parents had exactly the same cuckoo clock and it stopped cuckooing, it never actually kept good time. Cheers Graham.
I don't think they were a particularly good quality clock movement Graham!

For your shed plan, one idea could be to present it in a video and let us comment, could give some ideas, cheers.
Yes Retif, that's what I had in mind 😊👍
I was wondering if you drank all that coffee.
Well, over time I've probably had way more!! 😲 But I don't think these jars were all mine!
Every bit count.
Indeed it does! 👍😊
