More granboard problems - CapnMorgan vs GB_Murf (online league games)

- These games are for a league with Strike Force Darts, which runs some online leagues with the granboard. During these matches, we ran into some issues with the granboard app. We were able to play the games on another day, but this video shows you a portion of the games that were played.
I am a novice dart player. I started playing darts in September of 2022 and I'm struggling with consistency. I'll be using this channel to document my progress as I work to improve my dart game and my mindset. I upload videos, whether I win or lose.

My videos will cover a range of dart topics, such as reviews of the granboard system, arachnid dart boards, dart products such as tips and points, flights, stems, barrels, etc.; practice games and drills and problems with the granboard or other boards and products. I may also discuss dart leagues and facebook groups for darts.

Well that's just awful. I hear this happens all the time with granboard. I have had mine for a month, so far no issues thankfully. Keep them videos coming.
That was the first time I had major software issues, until tonight. At this very moment, I (and most other Android users) can't get on the app. The app was updated about 2 1/2 hours ago, but the Google play store isn't showing the update. The app won't let you play unless you have the updated version. It's currently working for most Apple users, though.
@CapnMorganDarts I have an android. I was only playing the animals and practice tonight. I had no issues. It didn't ask me to update my app. But I'm sure it's coming.
That sucks. I've only had that happen a couple times but it's very frustrating.
Yeah, it's extremely frustrating! It did the same thing to me twice tonight for my league games. Fortunately, we weren't as far along in the games as I was in the recorded ones here.
very tempted to buy one of these granboards. hows the cheaper non LED one? if anyone can answer that.. thanks!!
So, if the grandboard app goes down (league, online or home play) the board is basically dead? I am new to this, just a casual bar player but want a nice home setup and the grandboard has my attention (prodigy is way too much money)...but I hate the thought of 2 things...and that is spending $300+ on the GB, a monitor and extra camera to have a system I cannot play if the app goes bad or the GB network goes down. Next is the lifespan of this boards technology. I guess I could still play and add on paper but that is not the desireable result...LOL.
Has the issue been sorted out...do they have a forum for complaints, updates, service schedules, ect...?

If the app goes completely down, as it has for about a day when they released a new update, then the board is nothing more than a non-electronic soft tip board. But, that particular situation is very rare. If your home internet goes down, or if the Granboard server goes down, like what happened in this video, then you just can't play online. You would still be able to play local games and the app would work just fine, but you wouldn't be able to play online games. There are plenty of practice games and party games on the app that can be played locally. Problems like you see in this video are pretty rare.

i was considering buying a gran board 3s but this concerns me. Do you still recommend it?
I picked up other hobbies, so I haven't played on the Granboard in a very long time. I have no idea if there have been issues with the app or not.

I quit playing darts. Sold my Granboard and almost all of my darts. Still have a couple sets but only because I wasn't able to sell them
