Nice review Neil! I picked up on not being able to look at previous opponents too. That would be good. I do think it’s early days though and online darts it’s still in its infancy. I do love my granboard though!

Depend on your grip and barrel shape, go what you feel comfortable throwing with. I’d only day is make sure the dart is 18g don’t go heavier less chance of damaging the matrix in the board

I used to have electronic dart boards but darts will always break or not stick good to dart board:( so I got me a bristle dart board which I love but we don't play it as much cause don't like doing the math. Lol also debating between the gran 3 and the darslive board?
@@futbol1972 they can but camera tends to be on the person. There is a grancam out which you now have two cameras so harder to cheat. End of the day they cheat themselves

Want to get a gran board. Has anyone got the free standing cabinet? It's expensive but sure looks nice. How can I find you Neil I'd like to play when I get my board.
You can find prebuilt bare cabinets online,and there is also a company out of Iowa called wizard darts and they offer a plug and play unit. When you look at there products you might think their prices are a little high, but I made my own cabinet loosely based off of the cabinets they offer, and I was pretty close to their price. In the end I probably spent more if you counted the time spent in building the cabinet, and all the research it took to make it work
My darts have a hard time registering and my dad has a problem with them sticking . 20g darts. Does this happen to anybody else? I’ve had the board for 2 hours.
Check the sensory settings on it. It will depend on how your dad throws. If it’s a high arch in his throw they will tend to bounce hot. Darts need to fly more straight to go in
Honestly I think it would depend on your luck, or possibly how often you use it and weight of the barrels smashing of it. 🤞🏻 I don’t have any problems with it to soon
@@Pianist7137Gaming they basically are the same board, put Gran says the 3s is quieter. You’d be hard pressed to find a 3 online nowadays, unless you went used.
@@DaltonsTechTalks Got a 3S and its great! would have preferred the lighted vdarts H3L but the price of it here is crazy; about 2x the price of the 3S!

Love the Granboard, soft tip is a great relaxing and yes does the maths for you which take the pressure of calculating 😁

My granboard 2 breaks all my tips. The board has 0 give. Does this board break tips like that?
No mate it doesn’t, maybe try Lstyle premium points I find them the best

Nexus is getting discontinued so I wouldn’t even look at it. I would say granboard every day. Far better and better community on it

Any experience with the GranBoard Dash? I've only ever played steel tip, so don't want to pay too much for the 3s until I know I like soft tip.
No but it is the same board with out the flashy lights plus it’s battery operated and not mains powered. All run off the same app

Contemplating one of these or the Target Nexus, any thoughts?
Having both I would say the granboard is far better with more games offline and online play is far better

@@GAVR1983 some glitch software issues but it’s not a big deal, just they’ve updated software still got some bugs. But it’s minimal.
I wouldn't advise the Nexus. Very little development by target and lots of bugs. I'm thinking of getting the gran board and ditching my Nexus

You can use a camera on your device, some use a gran app to show the board but most have it shown them throwing

Yes you can you can do that in the option before going online or challenging someone to a game. It’s called split bull
