So glad to see it still in production today with a full body cabinet and new badged super cool it actually uses the same blade set that's on the 3733 and b20200 which would explain the reason why it's so loud at higher RPMs so what i did with both of mines i have the older one with the stamped badged on it i added the weather shield blade on it and its much quitter since it uses the amps as the weather shield which is 1.0 amps. one has the high velocity fan metal blade and the other the 3720 blade just a personal preference. anyways i enjoyed the video.
for sound testing they do it in sound absorbing room, reason for this is to get the sound ONLY from the fan's direction and not the echos off the walls as well.
I wish you would have taken the back Great off so we could look at the motor.. The air-king is supposed to have, if I remember right a completely sealed motor which the others don't, which means they get dust and dirt and clogged up faster.. the other fans will have sealed bearings but not a completely sealed motor.. Your video was great, I just wished you would have let us check out the motor..
What makes a good quality fan is a completely sealed motor. It's the quality of the motor that counts. You should have taken off the back grid so we could look at the motor..
As per the Air King website, the 9723 box fan is rated for 2163 CFM on high speed.

I never saw one with that badge variant before
That sounds more powerful then the new lasko 3723 and the new lasko 3733

It sounds like they're still putting the 3733 blade on it.

It’s an open air vented PSC motor. Same as what’s on the Weather-Shield, Pro-Power, etc. That’s what they’ve been using since the year 2000 or so.
They atopped using the stanped badge? Noooo
And then this 30 inch whole house fan with the 36 inch panel frame, it has 2350 or sx CFM just spinning it by hand
That doesn't make sense
