This is a common trend in Western countries especially in Europe. People usually cycle. There is no shame. But the roads are scenic as well and the surroundings are breathtaking. You get a wide space ideal for cycling which isn't the case with India because of the population and the roads.

11:25 it is very common in India, the septic tank is built in the home once it is full it needs to be taken away by the tank as seen but it is not as eco-friendly as it seems because ultimately the liquid is thrown in the rivers only😅. Yeah if you have larger area of land in your home it maybe more environment friendly. Only in big cities and hilly areas we have sewage system rest everywhere this system is used.
I think what you may be referring to is a septic tank. It's slightly different to that. There is a sewage system available here too but more people are choosing this as it's more economical and you would only need to pay for clean water from the council as compared to clean and dirty water when having a sewage connection. Also the dirty water is treated and released in the ground only.
