    Great build, I like how its practical and gets the best value for money with the parts and not about big brand's components with unneeded aesthetics and fancy AIO's. To the point and no long boring mentions!

    • @infernoo9

      I would personally only switch the CPU to 5800x and get an air cooler for this CPU

  • @aperson9907
    @aperson9907 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I Would recommend the Ryzen 7 5700 X because Ryzen 7 5700g has inter-grated graphics that doesn’t give any upside to gaming but actually a downside because of the reduced amount of L3 cache for the inter-grated graphics. The 30 difference is a big one

    • @MikMatTech
      @MikMatTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, 100% I believe at the time of recording there was a huge discount on the 5700g price wise so that was the one we picked,

    also how many monitors would i be able to connect, and can i connect a ps4 controller along with the keyboard and mouse or is there a different motherboard for that

    • @MikMatTech
      @MikMatTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How many monitors you can plug in is determined by the video outputs on a GPU, not video outputs on the motherboard so if your GPU has 4 Display port or HDMI ports you can have 4 monitors
      You can plug a PS4 into a standard USB port whether it be on the case or on the motherboard

  • @charlesburris6314
    @charlesburris6314 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'd probably go with an Intel build for the money. RGB is irrelevant to me.
    Definitely not a bad combo though. It will satisfy most people's needs.

    • @MikMatTech

      There is tons of good variations on the Intel Platform it’s just motherboards with good VRM cooling is hard to come by on 12th Gen for a reasonable price so felt AMD was a good decision.
      Also with the anticipation for AM5* there’s great deal on Ryzen

      The big thing to looks for is airflow, something like the Lian Cool 215 is a great choice.
      Another few mentions:
      Phantek Eclipse P360a
      Or Cooler Master MasterBox with Mesh
      Or NZXT H510 Flow

    Can’t you get a 7 5800x for the same price as a 5700g?

    • @MikMatTech
      @MikMatTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes absolutely!
      Sadly sales change all the time so we can make a build and then the next day a better deal can come out.
      I believe the 5800x is $330 as of right now
      But the 5700x is only 3 dollars more then the G Variant so that would be the better option on the AMD Platform
      I’ll be sure to pin this comment!

    • @MikMatTech
      @MikMatTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Cooler Master Hyper 212 is a great option for very cheap, but when it comes to AIOs…(they’re kinda all the same) they are all pretty much made by the same manufacturer oversees and given different designs, There’s a few made by cooler master for around $50-$65, And I would recommend a 240mm AIO.

    Would a Strix B450 F and Rx580 4gb still be good for current and new games on med-high settings? Im thinking of upgrading to a rx 6600 8gb

    • @MikMatTech
      @MikMatTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The RX 6600 is an amazing GPU for the price, Also that motherboard (as long as it is compatible with your CPU) is a pretty good deal. Just beware that none of those PCI-E slots are gen 4.0 on that motherboard.

    • @bigmanjack2776
      @bigmanjack2776 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MikMatTech so would that make my Nvme or gpu not perform 100% or it is a minor performance boost?

    • @MikMatTech
      @MikMatTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You wouldn’t experience any bottlenecks GPU wise, some newer cards are expected to need PCI E 4.0 slots for the graphics card But the rx 6600 works the same on PCIE Gen 3
      The only limitation you would have would be the M.2, the M.2 is only supported by Gen 3 NVME so you would be capped out at that SSD speed

      The cooler already has thermal paste on it if bought new so you don't have to worry about that, Although we would love to have tutorials for each build we simply don't have the facility to do so, although there is tons of other great tutorials across TH-cam

      225 FPS Average on Fortnite Max Settings at 1080p
