In a way this kind of makes sense. Modern cards are all about archetype based synergy, but without their supporting cards they can't use their full power. Meanwhile for the legacy packs, archetypes weren't really a thing until GX, so there's plenty of random old cards designed to work on their own.
Indeed. You can make a playable deck out of pretty much any old cards. You literally can't do that with some secret packs.
I'd love to see a one-off sequel where you switch sides - Danny takes the Legacy Packs and Dzeef gets Master Packs. Both card pools are wide enough I'd doubt there'd be too many repeats.
Make a series with Danny like the ones you do with Farfa and MBT please

They legit need to do this again. This was amazing.
Legacy packs are better at working with each other because it was before highly specialized archetypes. You got cards that worked with earth monsters and traps instead of a specific trap in the zodiac archetype for example. If the newer cards were as generic as the old they would work together better but it's a different design philosophy today than before.
This was so entertaining and fun, definitively consider making a series with this concept, it feels so much like playground yugioh it's nuts

But very doable. I like the theme. There's some overlooked treasures amidst a lot of nothingness you can find out of (2 cards)
Eh. It's really easy to get 100 legacy packs. But in a sealed series, legacy packs seem to be more valuable on the surface.
@@Shadow8332 I'm curious if it would be able to contend with 100 Legacy vs 10 Master and 10 of a Secret unlocked via the 10 Master.
The performages are the best, very generic and strong
@@runningoncylinders3829 that would depend on the secret pack unlocked. Since something like drytron would be bad due to how specific the strategy is with the rituals, but something like paleozoic works (even though the pack has 3 archetypes).

In sealed, whatever puts up the bigger number wins until there's a critical mass of accessible removal, then it's whoever can remove the most obstacles to direct damage over the course of 3-5 turns (however long it takes to assemble lethal damage).

Really good video. It's prolly gonna hit or miss with the pulls but dzeef made it work. Labyrinth wall ftw made it brick wall for you that hurts a lot and a flimsy piece of paper you can punch a hole into for the enemy.

Here’s an idea. A monthly or every 2 weeks or so series of one player opening 100 master packs, and the other player opening 20 secret packs, what pack will be decided by the wheel. Which packs can beat the master packs? Or will they lose as low value packs?
