These things just look great for a vintage airplane fan. Nice colors too

Thanks, The second last owner fixed her up and recovered her, he did a nice job. It had Pete Bowers original paint scheme prior to that.

Good flying. I need to assign my hangout buddies to watch your videos back to the Snowbird engine. Then they can have good questions and comments for whenever you drop in and visit.
    Always entertaining and educational.
    Thanks, Darryl.

Ok that makes sense. My dad was a shiftworket for 33 years and also managed a lot as a result. Well done for spending the time wisely!

I helped a friend rib stick a flabby back in 1968. He flew it until shortly before he died from a stroke. He got an additional 10 mph out of it by raping electrical tape over the paired flight wires. He sold the plane when the doctor wouldn't let him fly anymore, sometime in the 70s.

Harald Weltzin I’ve seen the tape thing before and was thinking about trying it. I believe they used aluminum tape. Thanks for the reminder.

Hey Hogsnplanes. I really love your channel! I have to ask....where do you get all the time? Controline, shooting, bikes, building experimental planes, radio control? Well done...you are a true inspiration. Keep it up. Regards Woody from Zimbabwe.

Fun to fly for sure but it gets boring fast. Easy to land so that's a good thing for most people.

Never bored in an open cockpit.
