I like the way you turned that one downstream so it wouldn't spook the pool. I ve been doing that since 74. These slow pools are so hard to fish without spooking the wily ones. It's like stalking deer through a bowl of corn flakes.
@@woodydavis8287 Lol…. I literally experienced this on a big one that I had spotted & was just about ready to make a cast on & a damn Turkey Vulture shadow sent him for the hills! Haha🤦♂️🥴🤷♂️😂

@@ronaldlutz5673 If a little road trip exploration is something that you could swing, I would suggest doing some mapping online of areas other than Fayette County & go see if you can find some better water….. not to say that those sized fish aren’t enjoyable to catch also….. but sometimes a little exploration pays off big! 👌😁🎣
@@stephenfields6236 yeah I’ve had one since June of 2020….. this content was from before that…….. Like I mentioned a few times in this video actually lol👌😉😜
You really need a net. The amount of times I’ve seen you poorly handle a big trout is ridiculous. You either beach them or tire them out to exhaustion. Do better.
Yeah man, I am friends with you on instagram and I have nothing against you but the net is a must. You can even get a used one for like 70 bucks, a nice fishpond net.
He clearly said in the video that this is old footage from 2020 before he owned a net. Apparently people like you just don’t have the patience to sit through and watch an entire video.
Another great video Dusty!! 🌊🌤️🌲🏔️

I'm hearing a kingfisher in some of those spots. On a sunny day the shadow of one will send trout under the banks.

You know I`m hooked when I can tell how old the video is by the color of your rod! The red one is older.

Please learn how to handle fish better by releasing them in a timely manner and using barbless hooks, if possible.
