Driving under the influence is a serious offense, what if the drunk driver cause an accident that could cause serious injuries to himself and to others? It wouldn't matter if he was the chief of police,captain,police officer,or another city official if they were DUI,they should be arrested for safety of themselves and other people driving or people walking/doing other athletic activity on the street. If they let him go and he injured someone or was in a car accident they could be liable for letting him drive drunk
