@@JTapia512 Hey thanks for the great content! I was looking for this answer because the Astro ratchet is so difficult to find right now. I heard what seemed like a little bit of play when you put the astro socket in the gear wrench. I may be mistaken, but how do you feel like the fit (socket into ratchet) compares between the gear wrench and astro ratchet?
Unless the nano socket you have put onto the gear wrench pass-through ratchet are the 1/2" sockets.... which then I'd hope the gear wrench 1/4" pass-through ratchets fit the 3/8 sockets!
These gearwrench pass tru don't last I didn't beat on my set and it didn't even last two years not using it a lot, or beating on it. Can the astro's at least be greased?
@@sashaghovanlou8175 Yeah the ratcheting mechanism, there's no way for me to really take it apart to grease it like you do with normal ratchets. Not that I got enough use out of it to where I'd normally have to put grease in it.
Damn! Good looking out! I do have that same gearwrench pass thru set, and just bought some nano sockets!
Bro thank you lmao I’ve been looking everywhere for this answer
You're welcome. Let me know how it works out for you...safe wrenching out there

Those are 3/8 Astro nano sockets

Where did the gear wrench fail? I'm assuming the ratchet itself?

Does anyone make a locking ratchet for the astro 1/2" nano sockets?
Thanks for the video though. Astro doesnt make the 78300 anymore
They made a double box end ratchet for it with the 3/8 sockets too, but it goes in and out of stock
I have all of those tools
Are these the 3/8 or 1/2 nano sockets?
3/8 sockets
