Well, I'm exhausted just watching. That was my cardio for the morning. Bless Lammie's precious heart for keeping up! Go easy on the old girl. She's a treasure.
RE-watching this post the baby's passing yesterday... crying all over again! 💔 What a precious, precious doll, and I think as good of company for Lammie and Spotty as they were for Phabeni. Prayers for Setombe and her adjustment 💚
That Joshua and others moved THEIR LIVES to be with the HERD shows not only compassion and dedication, but how much they are ACTUALLY PART OF THE HERD AND A HERD AND ONE DOES NOT LEAVE THEIR FAMILY.
They have amazing stories & testaments all their own❤. Even reading on Aldine & her parent's Legacy, it's just... Makes you smile. Stavros' story hit me hard; tears, laughter then mad respect for him & ALL the team. ✌🐘❤

I'm glad that Joshua and everyone else who was with the original herd in Zimbabwe didn't have to permanently move but could have all their families (human, elephant, and employer) on a 6-week on-and-off basis.
It's actually pretty common for elephant keepers to move with their elephants, because elephants don't really work well with strangers. In Asia and India the Mahouts tend to become very important and useful in elephants rescues, because they understand them. It is probably much the same for these amazing gentlemen with these elephants.
wow wow WOW -what a difference in this little boy, seems so inquisitive and cheerful now, instead of the sullen little fella hiding in the reeds. God Bless you guys and gals at HERD, who understand how to rehabilitate a lost baby. He even seems kind to Lammy and Spotty now. Perhaps it's from his suckling on his new mum Lundi and his new big brother/father Jabulani who has the heart of a saint. Your channel brings me to tears watching these wonderful Elephants. Thank you Joshua, Herman and Adine for your commitment to God's blessings for us to enjoy! God Bless!!!

Its a boost to my day to see little Phabeni out and about in the great outdoors with his friends, both human and sheep! Thank you for helping me smile today! God keep you all safe from predators both man and beast!
HERD brings such joy to my life 😊 You share with most of Us the opportunities we would never have with the elephants and with Lammie and Spotty
Me too 😊👍🏻
@MsShyla222 What a beautiful cat you have!🐘🐑🐦💞🇺🇸🐈
When I see his little face all filled out instead of so gaunt my heart just explodes! So cute how he waited at the gates for his buddies to join him before going through. Loved when Spotty ran to catch up with Phabeni and when competitive little Phabeni ran to catch up with his carer. What a bull he is going to be!❤️🇨🇦
I love how Nadine tooted with the bird. She is so awesome.
And to the rest of the care givers, you are all amazing as well. ❤❤❤
A very Happy Elephant Phabeni, with his friends Lammie, Spotty and Adine and Joshua enjoying a walk on a beautiful day ❤ 🙏🐘🐏🐑👫
