- How to set up and install a TP Link AC750 WiFi extender. It is easy Step 1: plug it in next to your router, Step 2: Press the WPS button on your router, Step 3: press the Diamond WPS button at the bottom of your extender wait for it to stop blinking and it is set up. I have you beat on that one. The 1st time Iset this thing up, it disconnected the wi-fi on my phone and my computer. I actually said Lord I don't need my blood pressure to go up on Mother's Day. 😂 😂 Took me 2 hours to get back online to find out how to disconnect what the instructions told me to do.
Is this device the right one to use as an antena for use on my cell phone te be able to get connected for signal from my net Main device on the living room to my garage. I sleep on my garage on summer time. Like to know if works as antena@@TomLeeman

Wps goes automatically for 5ghz in the newest routers. Once installed app you can split Wi-Fi signal for 2.4 and 5ghz (while changing the name) It was very useful for my older type of Samsung smart tv to go with 2.4 while other devices in my house are 5ghz suitable. 100% improvement for yt, Netflix, Amazon or online tv streaming, almost returned it back ;) great video anyway too!

This is a life saver Ya’ll I want from one bar too 3 in less then a min, I was having difficulties with my wifi as it is in the living room and my bedroom is so far away from it, I like chilling in my bed and bing watching but I was struggling with the buffering, I bought this and it saved my days my wifi bar is either on 2 or 3 either way it’s much better
It was a hassle putting it together though having to connect it to the router first then to the phone was long and full of anxiety for me
The router will extend to two more wifi’s and all will have same name as your router, also figuring out where to position it was a headache

I just got this literally 2 days ago. Setup with the tp Link app is a breeeezeeeeee. Highly recommend this extender
And the great thing about this is it only cost 30 bucks I bought one of those Allman’s for 130 and it didn’t last a year and this thing works great and I’m glad you’re having a good experience with it and thanks for watching

hi - I have a Cradlepoint AER2200. My company gave it to me to use since I'm in a remote area with WIFI only and need to connect via VPN. It works wonderful compared to the many hotspots and routers I've used in past. However, it does not have a WPS button. This unit worked in the past with our old AT&T router, but maybe it won't work with the Cradlepoint. Thanks!

What should I do when there's no light on the router's wps button when pushed? And thank you for the easy steps to take. I have been struggling with this for days. I hope the answer to my question is a simple fix. : )
It may still pair with the extender the only way to find out is to plug it in close to the router and then check a device to see if it recognizes it thanks for watching

This was a great tutorial! One question though, to connect the extender to ur computer/tv/or phone, is the name ur wifi and then it says EXT?

Btw you can change the extender name in the website my network was called something_ext then i renamed it downstaris wifi

It also looks like it automatically configures BOTH Bands - some require repeating the WPS connection protocol for each band
I have to say that this works pretty darn good. We have all of our devices downstairs hooked to it and it’s pulling off of AT&T.

I keep putting in the password login that “manages the device and I am not having any luck installing this WiFi extender.Thank you for sharing this video
Try unplugging everything including your router wait 10 or 15 seconds plug everything back in and start from the beginning reconnect the extender to the router and then look for the name of your net work_EXT On your device and then try plugging in the exact same password as your router should work
@@TomLeeman thanks. I don’t know what I doing wrong. I have no WiFi connection to my phone. The WiFi keep going in and out saying no connection. My garage and surveillance cameras are not working now due to this attempt to install this extender . I had att extender and it worked for 3 months then shut down. Thanks again for sharing
