I drove a GMC general tri-axle with a coal body on it. Had a 318 Detroit in it 13 speed, same exact interior. The guys in the quarry used to call me the bus driver. LOL

Wow, I thought the Starcar was a cool old truck but this one is ultra cool. Those 475’s were big hammers back in the day. Can’t wait to see more of both trucks…

In 2000 I drove a '86 Freightliner with a 8v-92 tt, I drove it just over a million miles, in 2007 it was taken out of regular service and restored and only runs a few times a year, i left in 2015 and it was there then.

Rite Mint! ! I used to drive a Jimmy-G w/a 475 back in the early 90's, dump truck tri-axle with a 13spd. It still is one of my fave day cabs to sit in.

Just TH-cam surfing and the old general caught my eye. I ran the short hood version with a 8V71 and was a torture. The dog house inside the cab gave limited room for my feet especially the accelerator pedal. The truck as worn out when I got it so I had to make the best of it. Later in. IH trans star I ran The 8V92 and it was a fantastic motor. Not only the bigger cylinders but the addition of a turbo made the motor a monster. I also ran a 6V92 in a brigadier dump with an Allison that was a rocket! Plus my first truck with float steers.
I have clicked the subscriber button so I’m here for future projects.
    Thanks
