This tinikling dance or bamboo dance - Magunatip in Malaysia obviously helps expand physical movements like hand coordination, foot speed and rhythm. This type of dance - called Tinikling dance in Philippines, Cheraw in Indian culture- involves two or more people beating, tapping and sliding bamboo poles on the ground and against each other in coordinationwith one or more dancers who step over and in between the poles in a dance. This bamboo dance is also one of the most popular traditional dances in Sabah. Have a watch and enjoy. Very very similar to India's mizoram state folk dance.... Mizo bamboo dance..
sadly,this actually isnt the final tinikling we actually tap the bamboo twice and then clap it together,but to prove our filipino talent they did it this way

I am from Northeast India and one of Indian state called Mizoram has this similar kind of bamboo dance as their traditional/ ancestral dance.
I believe we, the Northeasten Indians are related to the Philippines via our forefathers

Yes..almost the same with tinikling but in Sabah we called it magunatip by the murut people and in the state of sarawak,Malaysia we called it langgi aruh by the bidayuh people..
Looks similar to the Hlai of Southern China who dance with Bamboos also.

That is not a Philippine Tiniklin. It's music and traditional clothing is different.
This is a Dayak dance, not far from the Philippines in Borneo

I’m Khmu and we have a very similar bamboo stick dance we also perform. Same scenario, but we do it at a slower paste. I love they way y’all do it!!! It was absolutely beautiful!!!

This is one of the bamboo dances in Southeast Asia and not Tinikling of the Philippines.
I dont think its tinikling. Tinikling usually has a 3/4 time signature while this one has a 2/4 time signature. The music and outfit is also different.

They are Malaysian, but bamboo dance or Tinikling in Tagalog or Filipino language is also popular in Philippines:-)
That's not Tinikling though. Seems bamboo dances are common in Southeast Asian cultures and places close to Southeast Asia like eastern India and southern China.
This is not tinikling, this is called magunatip from north borneo or Sabah

This is not the tinikling but a related dance. Instead, it is a dance from one of the Dayak people of Borneo, Sabah or Sarawak.
