I had the chance to see my local symphony perform this the other day...I'd say it was a cool experience, but that doesn't begin to describe it. I almost bought another ticket to come back the next night to hear it again.

I've just heard performance of this beautiful masterpiece by Sinfonia Varsovia and you must believe me that this sounds even more superior than on the video.
I wouldn't ever think of being so amazed by contemporary music. Really good!

I love how Tan Dun blends more "traditional music" with elements like stones, water, even mobiles!.

It's quite a choice for an organization which allegedly supports young people to leave up a performance with Charles Dutoit. At least seven orchestras severed ties with him after allegations of assault and harassment, including rape. Perhaps you could argue you somehow didn't know all of this in 2015, but I would find that hard to believe if you were in touch with the industry in any way. However, when the news became public in 2018, this no longer became a performance recording worth keeping online.

I agree, it's very distracting to see all that red. WHY do they do that?

For about 3 years I have been walking through the forest near Moscow listening to your suites (I can’t raise my hand to write: trucks) Your envious people and critics are lazy and liars. You step by step, doing small things, grow great things. I am a simple person, but I confidently put a sign between you and Rachmaninov, although I understand that you will not like it and it is impossible to compare you, but I adore you both.

@@flutedaddy_ I respect your opinion, but your comment from 2 years ago was the most passive aggressive thing I have ever seen. It's great that you appreciate this kind of music, but you don't have to be all rude about it, like "hErE fOlKs, We HaVe SoMeOnE tHaT dOeSn'T kNoW wHaT tHeY aRe TaLkiNg AbOuT". If someone doesn't like the music I like, I see it as their loss, not mine, and I'm not going to write a passive aggressive comment to them. I get that this was 2 years ago, but I honestly feel like it's so hypocritical how you're refusing to consider another person's opinion, since you literally insulted someone for being so "set-in-their-ways". I understand that you really feel strongly about this piece, but if I were you, I would at least try to think about why someone else might think otherwise, even if I don't agree. @Clayton DeShawnte's reply to you was very racist and uncalled for, and that was definitely NOT the right way to handle this, and I feel bad that you had to hear that, but I still hope that YOU are able to grow to respect people with different opinions and learn to not act up just because someone doesn't share your opinion.
