Each summer, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute brings together the brightest young players from across the country to form the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America. Following a two-week training residency with leading professional orchestra musicians, these remarkable teenagers not only have the opportunity to play on the famed stage of Carnegie Hall but then embark on a tour to some of the great music capitals of the world, while serving as dynamic musical ambassadors. George Liu it's not hard to get in if you're good enough haha. All you have to do is go on the website, apply, and on the links they give you, you will have to play a few short excerpts and a couple other pieces, record it and send it in. Then you wait. :) it's a very experience and I hope you make it. Sincerely, a 2015 violinist
