There is one thing about classical music that I dislike. Overall I find Bach and Chopin beautiful in the extremes of how they paint stories with sound. Truly exquisite. It's the nattering of melody. Rest is not a thing that need be between pieces. Within a piece a sense of reflection should also exist. Beethoven really capitalized on this. The ebb and flow. There are reasons to meander and become violent but there are also reasons to contemplate.
Bach with pedal?? you have to be kidding me. Cembalo's didnt have pedal at that time, nor should it be played with pedals on piano unless you want to make it romantic, but its baroque!
