Story Behind The Music: Do you believe God hears and answers prayers? It's maybe the simplest and most powerful means of communication we have. This heartfelt music David Archuleta made with our young musicians came to him in a dream. It is a humble and sincere musical prayer. We feel that the rising generation benefits from being given fewer sermons and more encouragement to ask for themselves. More encouragement to seek out the Divine on their own knees. My Little Prayer became the inspiration for an entire album of music focused on that principle. As he recorded live with our high school aged musicians he shared first hand his experience of receiving this song in a dream. He woke up and wrote it down exactly as he remembered it. The final product is music that reaches across religions and expresses a beautiful, simple faith.

This was done in Dec of 2020. The masks were required by the state health department.
@@LyceumPhilharmonicIt was still never a law. Mandates, rules, and regulations are not laws and you never had to comply. You chose to. It was so hard for me to have to sacrifice musical opportunities for my kids during that time because they couldn’t mask. Hopefully you know better now and would never require something like that again.🙏 This hurt so many kids.
Love it but form a musical standpoint the song is a little flat (meaning boring). Maybe try to change the melody up a bit. Other than that, the song was amazing.
I absolutely love every single thing about the song. There might be another version - less soothing though. I think there is a video with 'lyric' in the title which is the same lyrics, but a slightly different melody. Give it a check.
