I understand the desperate need in some areas for foster parents, but the waiting children in foster care deserve permanent homes. Each child adopted from foster care frees up a bed in that foster home for more children so it also helps with the need for foster parents and should be supported as well.

What do you do when the agency drags out the the case past the one year mark when the birth parents never worked their case plan for a full year, when the child was placed with her adopted biological brother they were almost together for two years. The biological parents enter at the beginning of year two and the parents get a fresh start all over again. Meanwhile, the bonding study was thrown out by the biological parents attorneys. And the mediation that we went to nothing was ever agreed-upon or at mediation. How can this be legal?
