do you still like it? Did you have a chance to compare it with more expensive guitars? Because I do not like the guitar compared with same price Yamaha. Is that only me?
I got to have one...I am a Retired senior and I would like to ask martin to help me out with one of these beauties that I could never afford. Martin makes the best guitars in the World!
@@JohnnyRebKy I have this guitar now and the sound compared with Yamaha' same price range is not good. Not sure how to describe the sound is thin it is not deep. Forget about being solid etc this guitar is not a bargain. I will not buy martin anymore all are overpriced in my opinion.
@@persiaguitar yes…because you didn’t get a real Martin. Trust me when you pick up a HD28 you will know the difference. I had one like this years ago and I’ve had D28s. Not even close. A HD28 or D18 is worth every penny
@@persiaguitar I owned both of them. My HD28 burned in a house fire. Solid rosewood back and sides with scalloped forward shifted bracing. It’s a huge improvement over these cheap Mexico made Martins. They aren’t real solid wood. You have to go play a HD28 or D18 to find out. Words can’t explain it. It’s a whole different level when you get to them. Quality materials and craftsmanship cost more money. That’s why a HD28 cost so much more. Real solid rosewood or mahogany makes a major difference over cheap laminated materials The D18 and D28 ARE the definition of a Martin guitar. These cheap ones are just cheap guitars with Martin name on them The HD28 is a much louder and more powerful guitar. All you gotta do is touch the strings and they BOOM
I’d like to offer a bit of a course correction. He keeps disclaiming that these are great guitars….for the money. No disclaimer needed. Please let me simplify: These are great guitars.
I bought one of these and was able to change the model etching to say 18, pulled the sticker and sold it for twice the price to a local douchebag as a D18.
I have the 000 12E Koa and it is an amazing guitar!! I have the OM 21 and play this way way way more. Love the sound hole tuner too.
Nice demo....however I mustache you one question. Why did you get the back and sides wood wrong? It’s Sapele.
Noce Demo, I bought a Martin D12E Yesterday. Love it, Very Sound Guitar & reasonably priced @ $1199

The only difference is that the d10 is satin and the d12 is glosd
Also this has open gear tuners and black pick guard and multi striped rosette 👍
