Hey Jamain, I have serious polyphony issues when I create performances. The individual voices are fine in voice mode but as soon as I create any custom performance, I get dropped notes left and right even when I disable the sustain for one or even both of the voices. Any idea why or is this just a thing with the MO series?
Kevin, unfortunately, this is an issue with the Yamaha boards when using the performance mode. It's worse on the MO series of boards. I think the XF fixed this issue though.

Bishop! When I hit edit, on PERFORMANCE, my panel looks vastly different from yours. Your bottom row starts with Voice, Output, OUTSEL and Tone" / mine is "General, Out/Meq, Arp and CTLASN" what am I doing wrong?
Hello ive got me a motif 7 since i like the piano on it i scroll trough it last night wow lead sounds pads and piano awesome, but how do i use the seaqencer how do i start build intr by instr to record for a song i want to build. And how do i save my favourite sounds in motif 7 ...do i need a memory card to do that? or can i do copy to nr------
Yeah this is a known issue with Yamaha boards. I think they fixed this in the XF series but in the original and the MO series, it still does the cutoffs.
Press the [EDIT](COMMON) button. Press the [F1](GENERAL) button. Press the [SF1](NAME) button. Use the Cursor buttons to navigate to the "Name" brackets. Use the JOGWHEEL to change the Performance name. Then you should be good to go. Make sure you hit enter to commit the change to the name.
You will have to do this under the particular part parameters by moving the note(s) up or down because there's no way to do it by using the octave button. FYI: You if you set the octave with the buttons and save the patch, it will make everything an octave lower and save that setting to the overall patch. This could be useful in some scenarios. Hope this helps.
I actually like the new one the best. I got a great deal on this one at the time and jumped on it. One of the main reasons is because the classic is one of the only versions, until now, that didn't cut out sounds when layering in performance mode.

Greetings brother! If I wanted to just increase the octave of the pad or decrease it how I would do it with out affecting other instruments?

Maybe you are in common edit, hit one of the numbers (1-4) to go into element edit.

Hey please. But how do load that profirmancenof layered sound when ever I want to keyboard to load them every time I turn it on.
You can just save the performance and set your settings to last sound on reboot in the settings section.

All I wanna do is edit the filter in VOICE mode. Why cant I figure out how to access it?

same as you would store a performance. You edit however you want and then press the store button
When I set my faders the sounds cutout when blended together. The sounds aren't blending well. Is there a work around or is it a polyphony issue?

Yes, you can. That's what I show in the video where you can search your banks for your sounds for each voice that you have.

Why after storing and I turn off the power and turn it back on the previous performance that I edited go away and I have to start it back
The internal battery may need replacing.

How do you get to voice?
You would tap the part buttons for each individual part and then select what sound you want to use for that part.
