Samsung uses exynos chip (If you have qualcom chip it will probably work ) so after installing custom rom VOlte stops working and hence call and messaging features just stops but it will work if you force it to use 3g/2g or if you use vi sim which uses older technology (Not VOlte) to perform calls . You can also install unofficial custom Rom in mediatek phones but it will be buggy and security is not even a thing in unofficial rom's .

@@prabhneetsingh1211 The phone internal storage was only 8 gb and apps installation can be done on only internal ROM, So I made my SD card of 16gb a credential storage, it started working like internal ROM and My phone's internal memory increased.😊 As a result I installed more amount of apps in it.✌️

Volte won't work (mainly jio) because of samsungs own ims implementations , they didn't release the source codes , other than that everything will work .

Bro there are multiple roms available for a phone , so you can try other roms
I think you need to apply different type of preferred network because when I install the rom i also had the Same problem. Hope it will resolve the problem !
Previously I tried pixel rom in my redmi 3s phone. Same issue there too...no call and message facility. I fixed it by reinstalling the rom again. I don' t know why this happens.

for getting working call and receive messages you have to root your device once and install mixedplorer and then got to build prop and then edit and remove jbims1 and save then reboot and unroot device it will work fine

on samsung phones with exynos chips... volte will never work .. so yeah ... u cant receive calls... dont know about messaging.. after all all mtk and exynos handsets will have unfixable bugs on custom rom.... only on snapdragon.. u can get the full experience..

Bhai mere pr bhi same problem aa rhi thi to maine developer se contact kiya rom k or usne bataya ki samsung pr koi bhi rom volte access nahi kar sakti lekin baki devices m koi problem nahi aati hai and also s9,s9+,note9 k liye noble rom hai jo aapko one ui 4.1 ka experience deti hai and us pr call and messages bhi achhe se work krte hai

I think you're using CORVUS OS. it has volte issues. Try any other rom

Try lineage rom from xda
Airtel jio etc. Aren't working, because ROM may be doesn't support VoLTE ..... Maybe. "Maybe" because airtel runs on 4G and jio on LTE..... Technically jio shouldn't work, but no idea about airtel

I would suggest you to root only if your phones processor is of Qualcomm and it is from brands like MI, Redmi, Xiomi, Poco, Nothing, Motorola or one plus. Because only these brands provide full support for Custom Rom and you will enjoy true power of custom ROM.
@@knight1.067 only root if you know what are you doing personally i am using rooted phone for 2 years and never once i faced issue (i experiment a lot) where as many newbies root without proper knowledge and late blame root for every single mess they have created

Try a different custom rom . Pixel experience has some disgusting bugs and gliches. I would suggest u to flash other aosp basses custom roms like cherish , corvus , evolution x , arrow os , dot os . U will get same smoothness like pixel . U can flash pixel os either.
