It is essentially rigged like a chain elevator-the belt is attached to the bottom of the climber on both ends so that it goes from the bottom of the climber, around the bottom pulleys, around the top pulleys and then going down and attaching to the bottom of the inner stage forming the a loop.and the pulleys driven by the motors at the bottom will spin and then the climber goes up or down. If you think about the attachment point at the bottom of the inner stage like a tooth of a belt, when that belt spins around it is either going to go up or down.

As someone just getting back into frc as a senior (maybe I should check CD before asking this) in what way do the belts propel the box tubing?
