I know right you cry because you feel the music and you hear it and love it and see if from your heart it is so pretty I know and you understand I did too i cried and your comment is amazing and your amazing
We will never stop missing them. They were our lives. I've mentioned this one other time in a comment. There are three things I've learned since his death. The first is that the world does not stop for my pain. I have to catch up to it. Second is that I couldn't move forward until I quit asking "Why". And lastly, I realized I will survive this but I have had to go through this in my own way and in my own time. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. I wish you the best and much peace.
This is amazing. It blows my mind to how emotional and powerful music can be. I cannot help but to just close my eyes and take the majesty of all of Ludovico Einaudi's songs in. It's as if he makes the piano "speak," or even "sing" to us. His songs truly bring tears to my eyes.
A perfect music. Not only about its sadness but also its freshness. I dont just feel deep but also, especially, in some parts, like a fish swimming in the morning, look at the world with foreign eyes. You may imagine also a cup of coffee, near the window, look at the seagulls, standing...ohh.that is fantastic...not it changes the rythim. stabilize, stabilize,,stabilize...
have to agree, this guy can stir your emotions like no other before him, a true modern day genius, what i wouldnt give to be able to play even half as good as this man, bravo ludovico bravo bellisimma
The melody flows, it spills, weaves a spell like waves, over me. And for a moment my soul stands still; does what it wills -- like a child, i'm high on life and I'm in in for the thrill of it. ~ ............ ~ ..... (replying to a 3 yr old comment... anyone out there.. please feel free to continue..)..
I'm so truly sorry for your losses. It's the most painful thing a human being can experience. The deeper the love, the deeper the pain. We all grieve in our own way and in our own time but this man's music truly does help heal one's heart and soul. Do take the best of care and a big hug to you ( ).
It is so beautiful he wrote this for a reason and when he did he made it so beautiful I can tell ever piano song he made was from his heart he played what he felt in his heart if you agree like

My music channel on my TV brought me here. I'd like to take a crack at why it's called Monday, although I'd probably be wrong. Well, this is a sad song, one that brings lots of emotions out. When you think of Monday, most people wake up and dread it. They have the whole work week ahead of them. I imagine a man, who isn't happy in life, waking up out of bed, sighing, brushing his teeth and getting ready for a dull work day. This man is lonely and only has himself. The song progresses as his day continues and he thinks about how lonely the rest of his week will be. He's at the dinner table, eating by himself, and realizes again, "It's Monday, six more days to go...alone." Maybe he's lost his love, yes, that's it! He then goes to bed and lays awake, staring at the ceiling with the dreadful feeling and before he goes to bed he thinks to himself, "Monday...the day I lost her." And he knows every day he will love with that pain.
I agree with you. I also hear happy memories popping in from time to time; perhaps from childhood and running free, or of the immense joy and satisfaction that was felt when the top of that beautiful mountain was reached, or as you say, maybe one's life-love was suddenly lost. Also I'm super stoned atm.
I lost my husband 10 years ago. It pulled the ground out from under my feet and I couldn't find my way past the grief. About a year ago, I accidently stumbled onto this music. I put my headphones on, closed my eyes and the music took me outside of myself. It was unlike anything I've experienced before. So I simply allowed the music to take me where it wanted me to go. It took me to a place of complete peace. Away from the pain of the grief. It's now my personal therapy. It heals the soul.
This is the song that introduced me to Ludovico Einaudi. I discovered it on Soundscapes, now I have a few of his albums. This one is still my favorite.
This song is indescribable. I'm a very keen writer and this song has so much feeling and emotion that I am flooded with inspiration for possible writings. Thanks for uploading this and putting it with the candle was genious.
i just discovered Ludovico a few hours ago by his song "Love is a Mistery".... and i don't know how i lived 22 years of my life without knowing his music....
I agree. I believe it flows from the soul to the fingers and is delivered with passion and emotion. Anyone can entertain with music. To move people with music is an entirely different matter. And this man most definitely plays from his soul. He can move one to tears.
I heard this song once while listening to one of the digital music channels and instantly fell in love with it. I even made this my profile song... it's some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard.
It is Monday evening. I am sitting on the couch, looking at the wall in front of me with TV set off and with lot of photos on the wall. I am sitting, nothing doing, just thinking about the end, that will come one day. Thats what this song does with me.. Really strong and perfect :) +1
Maybe this is the best MONDAY ever... I listen it time and time again and it's not enough... Perhaps best Einaudi song, so calm, so peaceful, so melodic, sooooo beautiful :) So i got the habit of listen it every night in order the get calm before I sleep whenever I had a tough day... It relaxes me
the video is awesome. Love the flame. As opposed to seeing rain, where you drown in melancholoy... I feel like the sadness reflected in the flame shows a burning desire to wake anew. There is light in the darkness.
@ANYorkable I'm 13 and I play classical music. And i really appreciate this kind of music so yes i agree with you. I wish more youth would apprediated it...
I agree that a lot of his music is similar, but for me, that is a very good thing. His music is so beautiful. If you get tired of one song, but want to hear the same type of music, then he always has plenty more. You ought to try his album Divenire. It has a different sound than this, and I think it his best work yet. It is very inspiring

Everytime I listen to Monday i start crying I don't really know why !! Amazing artist !!!
The music is deep in emotion. Crying would be a natural response.
Einaudi's musc touchs inside and moves our feelings. It don't care if there's a reason. Music is the communication of human souls
I know right you cry because you feel the music and you hear it and love it and see if from your heart it is so pretty I know and you understand I did too i cried and your comment is amazing and your amazing

Bello... Sencillamente bello.
It’s Monday today, and it’s rainy outside and this piece fits the mood of the day perfectly. Ludovico Einaudi never fails to touch my heart ❤️
It's amazing how much peace this music gives me. I close my eyes, clear my head.. and all is good again.
