Yes! What calms me down every time is my belief in fate. In my mind it's like "bad or good events in life are already meant to be, so why fret?" Right? Of course you are allowed to be apprehensive or wallow in despair, but without the negatives we won't be able to understand the positives. I always aim to be content instead of being happy.
