@@riemjann1 Could be, was probably very early in testing week 1 I guess.
@@nicorosbergf1fan783 They changed it now, but for history, T cams weren't mandatory during testing until 2020.
This is partly why Merc was surprised when DAS was revealed so quickly(they expected it to be secret during testing).

This visor cam is fantastic hope I can see it during the races. From this view you can understand the different driving style and feel the speed.
Man I wish F1 2019 will have VR capability.
Try Assetto Corsa, it's amazing! The only use for my VR headset is racing sims.
I use my VR headset whilst playing in cockpit view in the game the closest you can get for now
Project Cars 2 is nice as well. Both AC are PC2 are great games anyway

Codemasters said themselves a year ago that their f1 engine doesn't support VR at high FPs due to the particles and effects, like brake smokes and how trees work, if they ran it in VR only very high end rigs would be able to handle it :(

@@OEmanuel2 It might be that the camera is near the top of the helmet above the visor, so it has better visibility than the driver.

I couldn't stop watching the steering wheel and wondering how they can drive/race while doing all the changes on the wheel at the same time.

This cam was an eye opener to the vibrations of the car and shows how gruesome the shifting of gears can be to a driver's body. Kudos to all the drivers out there, and kudos to Liberty Media.

As much as we'd love that, there might be info that would be kind of a trade secret for teams, so they won't show it.

The halo is right in the line of sight for these guy's. Just shows how good these guy's really are.
I'd love to see some sort of eye tracker overlay on a video like this, it would be cool to see where how quickly the driver focuses his vision between the wheel and track.

@ya Of course he isnt driving a Ferrari anymore, but if Alfa can improve their car over the year and Kimi has a strong sunday, I dont think that a Podium isnt impossible, look at Perez in the past few years, miracles can always happen, especially at tracks like Baku (Stroll 2017)

This one was set up better than what we had recently, recently they are set to look lower down, this one was perfectly set though, you can see both steering wheel and pretty much track and what`s in front of car.
