- The Mooreland House
Col. Daniel Moore built the house as a wedding present to his
second wife, Minnie Ball, in 1891. They would live there for a many years
with their family. After a 120 years this beautiful home was now abandoned.

This House was owned by Frank and Kerry who had a TH-cam channel that I followed but sadly it all became too much for them, they sold it to a new owner who also now documents the progress the new channel is called Harrodsburgs Historic Castle.

Yeah, Frank and Kerry literally saved this house from total destruction. Without them this house would be a pile of rocks right now. It had major water damage as well as termites that were gobbling it up at an alarming rate. They are an amazing couple that did it all by themselves and have now sold it to a guy named Kyle who is taking up where they left off. Watch their TH-cam channel, Saving Harrodsburg Castle- it`s amazing.

The original photos you showed of the castle are just stunning! The woodwork, the windows, and the stained glass are beautiful. What a sad state of disrepair it has become. The new homeowner must have some very deep pockets because it will cost a small fortune to renovate it.

I can see the beauty it once had..... glad there is restoration ongoing. It also looks like it's haunted...maybe the bride is still there? The restoration process will upset the energy and ... well... just sayin. Believe in ghosts or not...I saw one once and you can never convince me otherwise. 👻🤍
