    Just a tip - when I work with aluminium I use candle wax on my cutting discs and linisher belts etc, really helps with cutting speed and reduced heat buildup.

    Really beutiful work of art. It looks way better, than those made out of flat sheets. Also, what about equal flow type of stuff? That short radius turn in the enter of manifold looks like lack of air for first cylinder. Ever consider building equal flow manifold v2. 0? Cheers, stay strong.

    • @Garage4age
      @Garage4age  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      So far tuning wise the engine is no more susceptible to knock. which suggests this one is at least as good as the dual setup. but have no way to measure individual cylinders at this point. I went away from the dual for a few reasons, that particular one because of the way it was packaged and space between the bellmouth and roof of plenum. They need a lot of testing and science to get them to work right. one in vid is all about big airflow and correct runner length, wanted to keep alot of free area around the bellmouth. will try wind more power into it after intercooler upgrade. Plus will try it on my na setup which runs the same throttles, its very picky about intake changes so will be interesting test.

    Im new to aluminum TIG welding.
    what cutting wheel are you using for the angle grinder and chop saw?
    Your creative ideas 💡 are amazing!!

    • @Garage4age
      @Garage4age  ปีที่แล้ว

      just a standard abrasive wheel. not ideal cut with, and best to file or clean up the containments some other way before welding. you can get aluminum specific ones

      Nice, again I’m impressed with your talent. I have never even seen one of those aluminum Donuts. That gave me some ideas but I need to look into it more.
