Magnificent. I need both my kidneys and so could never afford to buy one of these, but I really do like the tone. Thank goodness composers still use them, even if most listeners don't have clue what instrument they are hearing but just like the theme tune. Congratulations for this person for playing such an exquisite and violently expensive instrument to procure and extra special thanks if he owns this instrument. Great work.
im a bassoonist and by far this is one of my favorite pieces. The Contrabasson and Bassoon blend so well during the opening. So simple but so effective
If you are talking about the song, then I have absolutely no idea... BUT, if you are talking about the contrabassoon, then I think you would be surprised. I play bassoon in concert band, and got the opportunity to play a Contra at CU Boulder, and what I found most surprising about it are two things, 1.)Fingerings: the middle register of the contra (on staff high F to low G and I think all the way down to a low Bb) are all the same as bassoon, maybe with a few alternate fingerings, after that, you will have to learn a whole new set of fingerings, but instead of holes as keys, like the bassoon, the contra uses keys. 2.)Air support: The contra uses wayyyy less air then I thought it would, you would be surprised if you ever got the opportunity to use one. (and if you ever do get the opportunity, TAKE IT, it was a really fun experience.) Hope that answered your question and a little more.
Maybe, somewhere in the world, there might be even a bigger fi... contrabassssooooon, a contracontrabasssoooon, made of one piece of redwood! Isn't that idea frightening? There might be only a few blokes in the world, able to play. And only one company in the world has the power to move it. But it is not brought to the concert houses, the concert houses have to be built around!
I am obsessed with the beauty of low bass instruments, this was wonderful.
my dream is to have a contrabassoon 😥 , i played bassoon for a few years , but i am passionate about contra bass 😍
Yo quisiera tener un clarinete bajo
Sure to be a neighbor’s treat come true!
Me too!!!
I’m filled with admiration for the craftsman who made the instrument.

Baby Shark faz referência a trilha de Jaws. Poucas pessoas percebem isso.

@hugeballs same. I’ve been watching perspectives of the low brass since I play trombone in band. So now this appeared in my recommendations.

Less than you think :)
@@Sammy-bd7jv makes sense since playing oboe I might die from asphyxiation lol
What is the name of this song?
That's the main theme from Jaws. John Williams composed the music for this film, its sequel(s), and many other iconic films / franchises.
