as a chinese person seeing how hsr is using every opportunity possible to introduce international viewers to our culture is genuinely so special to me... seeing all the non chinese vas get super excited and shocked about performances and cultural art forms we see every year during the lunar new year tv special... it really warms my heart sm

I don’t know anything about Chinese culture (does Kung fu panda count?) but this was a really cool introduction! I wish I knew what some of these dances/performances were called so I can investigate further! What were the singers from phantylia’s section? What were the swords? What was the flowy dancing called?
I was already a fan on Wuxia and Xianxia novels way before I got introduced to Hoyoverse games but seeing all those motifs being portrayed in these games has been really awesome...!!!
@@KT-lt4fy the flowy dancing uses "water sleeves" to create that flowy movement! i believe it's just called the "water sleeve dance".
from phantylia's section, i'm not too entirely sure but that comes from a certain ethnic minority in china- it's definitely a mountain ethnic group but I'm not sure if it's from tibet or from yunnan, i'll have to look into that
and for the swords, they're really just?? chinese swords?? i'm not expert enough to know the super niche details but the performers are definitely trained in wushu

I think people failed to realize at the Jingliu part, it's not Jingliu and Blade nor Jingliu and Jing Yuan - it is Jingliu vs. Mara. She's fighting the Mara within her. That's why the one in black is blindfolded. It's her internal struggle. :(

Just like the Blade segment seems to be reenacting his trailer, showcasing how Blade is surrounded by Dan Heng's illusions around him equipped with (green laser) spears, then said illusions stabbing him (where they flash a red laser to Blade at where the stab wound is supposed to be), then later as the build up for the beatdrop, Blade defeats those illusions before the lightshow
The ending doesn’t show where Molly’s WiFi cuts off and everyone in chat holding down the stream for another 2 mins lol, truly and surely no better and more in character way to end a Mollo stream lmaoooo

@@aikuch8371 Basically, the Eng VAs for HSR did a cover for the song Interstellar Journey on Nicolas Leung's channel. Then, the VAs were reacting to it on Molly's stream. Though she ended up having to cough around the middle of the song. Instead of trying to mute her own audio, she accidentally muted the song itself. Everyone essentially heard her cough when that wasn't supposed to happen, so people just meme about it ever since.
Nick losing his mind during Samudrartha and screaming “YEEEEESSSS THAT’S HIM” when DHIL appears cured my depression.

As someone who has a degree in stage/entertainment technology I couldnt help but look at every single detail. They didnt hold back whatsoever XD.
When it comes to Samudrartha, people tend to use a program called Resolume to program animation effects to be time coded so it works in synch with the music.
I wouldnt be shocked if they did the same for the 3D models.
As for dancing with a sword, thats being trained so much that its an extention of your body and senses XD (I train in Aikido so I got experience there too lol)
