  • My name is Lexi and last year I weighed 485lbs. In a year and a half I lost 293lbs naturally with diet and exercise. No personal trainer, diet plan, or anything like that. I fell in love with taking care of myself in the gym. You can find me on instagram, fb, twitter - @fatgirlfedup.

You have me in tears ❤ Yes YES to all of this. Each day you have anxiety about a simplistic task for most people. We had to prepare a head of time anytime we were invited to an event. It was so much easier to just decline the invite, wasn't worth the risk of being humiliated. I am so proud of you, Lexi! Thank you for all the inspiration. You are a blessing to all of us ❤

You are so inspiring! I've lost 57 pounds today and am about to go on a hike with my friend. I still have a ways to go, and some days and weeks the weight loss is slower than others. I found your videos and instagram at the exact right time to convince me and push me to just keep going. THANK YOU!

Afifa Saeed I'm now down 62 pounds since March 1st this year. I eat way more veggies and lean protein. For breakfast just light yogurt with a piece of fruit, then either a salad or sometimes a light soup or even a lean Cuisine when I'm in a hurry for lunch. Then for dinner just healthier options like turkey chili, shredded chicken salads, a lot of salmon and asparagus.. I started doing 1500 calories a day and am now trying to stay around 1200-1300. I also drinks TONS of water throughout the day and walk at least two miles a day. (Started about half a mile and worked my way up.) Good luck!!

Finding your instagram and channel gave me the motivation to start changing my life. I felt like I had dug such a hole with my weight, that there really was no way out. So much of your life is an exact mirror of my own. Knowing that you have made this journey has given me hope, that if I stay on this healthy life style path, I too can start to live my life and not just exist. So Thank you! Almost 4 weeks into my journey and down 16 lbs!

Anyone who has it in them to shove the various discomforts aside, to get out and lose weight so they can live a healthier life, is my HERO! 💐 Please keep making videos, Lexi. Your story is relatable to so many and can continue to provide comfort and inspiration!!!

Thank Lexi for being who you are 💕💕😘😘

You helped inspire the start of my weight loss journey. I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I too got fed up and was discouraged because most people start losing weight when they are already 30/40/50 pounds lighter than me. I joined a Krav Maga class (self defense) that's an hour long and is followed by a 30 minute group cardio class with my friends. I'm held accountable by them to not only show up to class but to eat right too! I also enjoy the class- it's fun and I'm learning techniques that may be useful in my future. I've been without soda or other caffeinated drinks for 5 weeks now. I only drink lemonade (super low-cal, low sugar, etc) and water. Mainly water. and I started eating more fruits, veggies, and cutting down how much I eat. I've already lost 10+ pounds but I have so much more left to go. I thank you for being one of the people who inspired me to begin and continue. Thank you. :)

Just discovered you... this made me cry. I weigh 275lb and I can't fit on rollercoaster rides or comfortably into most seats... I've now redownloaded MyFitnessPal and hope to start exercising. You've given me a kick up the bum that I needed. I don't want to stay this size - purely for my health. Its so hard as well when health professionals blame every problem you have, even if its not related, on your weight. Life as a big girl is so hard and I've had enough!

Kiss Midnight if you are really unable to exercise then you should go for weight loss surgery. I know it's not the cheapest way but it includes in health insurance in some countries. It is best decision a fat person ever could make. My friend tried every exercise he could and lost 20kgs but later on he gained it all back and he was struggling with his life. He found that weight loss surgery and went for it and omg he has changed drastically since one year. You can search stories of any person on TH-cam. I am not here for any promotion but just to make someone's life better. Have a good day.

I grew up as an athlete. I was always fit and lean. When I got injured in the military, I wasn't able to work out. I got so depressed and became married to food. I went from 170 at 5'7 to 230 in about a year. I couldn't control myself. I stayed at that weight for a while and then a couple years ago some shit happened and last year I weighed 290lbs. I was ashamed and couldn't believe I did this. I started losing weight and was doing really well. In march of this year I was 239! More life happened and I let it stop me. I got back up to 265. I woke up last week and decided I was sick of doing this to myself. I was fed up with how I was treating my body. Tuesday (my work Monday) my new life began. I'm more motivated than I've ever been before and I'm not going to let anything stand in my way. I'm 26 years old, and I'm fed up with being fat. :) thank you for showing me that I'm not alone, and that it can be done the right way. I'm proud of you, a stranger, and I hope to reach my goals.

Eat your protein first so if you get full, you've had the important part of your meal and the protein will fill you up. Find an exercise that you enjoy. I enjoy swimming, working out at the pool.Good luck ☺♥ 🎆

I am not overweight, but I kind of relate to this video as a disabled person. I also have to think about a lot of things other people don't have to think about, and live with daily struggles. So much respect for what you have accomplished!

Lexi i only got up to 330 lbs but living in NYC it was HARD stairs subways climbing the 3 steep stairs to even get on the bus, broken sidewalks, And we have Elevated subways 3 or 4 flights of stairs just to get up there then the same going down coming home...
I noticed its easier to really be obese in middle america where things are flat and you have room to get the car close to you destination and dont have to walk or climb a lot.
