Just broke my board last weekend and have a few questions you could maybe answer. First of all, after my 100cm dwarfcraft snapped in half (already knew this could happen, as it’s a known issue due to being a kite foil board) I think I should go for a pump board. I think I’ll get the gong Kluber but not sure if I should go for the 80 or the 95. I’m 171cm 75kg I believe a stiffer board could help me pump for longer and will prevent folding it in half. Also, after watching many of your videos, and this one in particular, I have never discovered if you ride a custom axis tray board or it’s a ketos also custom for you. Your position on the board also intrigues me, as I tend to place my back foot almost in front of the mast (red fuselage and png 1150) and you seem to place it almost on top of the rear bolts using the advanced black. Your stance leaves only a few cm in front and back of your feet on the board, so I assume shorter is better. Thank you! n8
@@ene8cho if you go for the kluber take the 80cm board. I have the ketos 90cm board now and i like it better than the kluber because of the concave on the side of the board. I'm using a very small stab 359/40 cut to 270/40 that's why maybe my back foot is more on the bach of my board. Foot placement dépend à lot of the current or waves your facing during your pumping and the wing you're using too. I'll make a tuto soon about foot placement.
@@slappysurf i have one already, i like to pump more the 1401. The 1300 v2 have a better low end but it's a little bit slower, glide very well but less than the 1401, 1300 v2 turn better than the 1401. It's a good wing but more oriented to beginners i would say. So if you can pump the 1401 there is no need to go on the 1300 v2, the 1201 should be the next step i think.
@@yvonvite_AXIS While I love the 1401 + skinny 45 I still struggle to break the 2 min flat water barrier with it. I feel like the glide recovery cycle on the 1401 uses up a lot of energy to recover after glides. I also feel that the 1401 is too pitch sensitive for me to ever beach start and I would love to have a foil I could consistently beach start. I also have a 1201 and I do love the way it pumps but it needs so much speed to start. I also get a bit angry with my 19 mm Alu 75 cm mast with the 1401 in choppy conditions. At low speeds if you don't pump directly straight the mast will eat almost all of your energy with a weird wobble. I can't justify the ridiculous cost of the UHM mast, I could buy an entire new Code UHM setup for just the price of the Axis UHM mast.
@@slappysurf i know AXIS mast is too expensive, but so good. It works well with the aluminum too i think. I prefer the 82cm in choppy conditions. There is something new coming with a better low end for beach start with almost the same glide of the 1401. Be patient. But it's true I dont see a lot of riders beach starting the 1401. The 1401 works better with the skinny 359/40 on crazy short advance +. I also tried short advance + with the new skinny 358/30, crazy good results, less pitch sensibilité. More testing are coming for great combo with the 1401.

Thanks for showing it's not always unicorns and rainbows 😂 glad you made it back safe 😊
Yes, not always unicorns for fure... Wait for next video, even a bigger fail. 🤣
It's incredible to me how far you and Saugy are pumping on relatively small foils to get to these wakes.
Merci pour le partage ! On t'a déjà refusé un "wake theft" ?
Non pas depuis qu'on a discuté avec eux.
De bon conseil ! Merci
Nice Video! I just got the gong fluid xl frontwing do you think its a solid foil that's also capable of riding waves behind boats ?
@@jaronneuscheller660 slower boat for sure... I don't know what is the max speed of the fluid xl, but you definitely can.
Pumping 4 min. Straight, changing boat like nothing, at least we can see you fall once😅... Love it

@@yvonvite_AXIS yes, your board is flatter than earth! Not enough cash for a ketos yet.
Also noticed you wear different shoes on each foot 😁
@@ene8cho yes différent shoes is to get a bit of rocker to be more confortable on the wave. 🤪
I Also snapped a dwarftcraft 100cm this week.. and there are 2 other youtube videos of others snapping them. We need a feature on this...issue..
@@carlmunroe well, it's a kite foil board, not a pumping board, I knew the risks
When do you think you'll get your hands on a 1300v2 Yvon? I want to hear what you think about it vs. the 1401
