This is what most Africans don't understand, once you control the money and economics you control the leadership and the people. This is the principle of how a minority dominates the majority. The Chinese have the Zambians by the balls financially and economically and they can slap them in the face and dictate to them what to do and they have to obey. Most African countries need investors to catch up in the world's economy. The west didn't do that during their reign in Africa. Instead they plundered their resources without any contributions to develop their countries, and they made them slaves. Well, I like America as an African American, but I would argue against any African countries taking any aid from any countries outside of Africa, especially China and the US, they don't care about you, they only see money to be made.

I was in massa and I was really shocked and felt so bad.... When you travel in copper belt is terrible.... I agree but maybe he would not get another job and has a family to feed. In the West I would choose to loose my job before I apologise but in Zambia the job opportunities are less. Saying that this is a situation where you have faith in God and resign from your job anyway. It takes faith to believe that God would have provided him another source of income.

Hi Wode Maya, im Zambian and what you are saying doesnt offend us in anyway because it is so true, this current government of ours is one that has no morals and one that has led us back into an era of colonization all because of their greed and corrupt ways. In just under 9years they have borrowed over 13.5billion dollars of which 65% of that amount has been misappropriated.

Zambian citizens need to vote the current president out of office during the next election. Vote for the mayor to be president because he has the best interest of the citizens at heart.
Zambia is rich like all Africa but this debt will be paid only if the Chinese do not control your industrial economy and your trade. Wake up because in 10 years it will be too late! The contracts signed with the corrupt can be revised if these false leaders are kicked out! International law exists and China is aware of it. Like any thief, China benefits from the shade!
