Nice bag, but I still prefer my GURA GEAR Bag because of the butterfly style access to my equipment which only exposes half of my gear at a time. it’s the only bag I’ve ever seen with that option. Thanks again for the video Scott. I always appreciate your time and effort.
This bag isn't about accessing gear etc not he fly, its about getting through airports and such with heavy gear really. which is a big deal for wildlife folks. If im doing a bit of everything im running a shimodo or f-stop personally, but for flights etc where I don't need to hike with the bag, this guys going out with me.
For me here in Alaska I’m using the Shimoda Action x50 v2 and using my small luggage that has wheels on it and then sliding the backpack down over the Handel that they have built into the backpack just for that and wheeling my gear around like that
Hi Scott, great video. How about the weight of the bag though? I think it’s around 3 to 4 kg? When carrying on camera gear would you have to pay extra at the airline because I’m guessing all the stuff would be around 10 to 12 kg?
Alaska airline who I fly with a lot has no limit on carry on and I think the rest are like 50lbs. the only limit they have is, it must fit in overhead bin. The bag weights less than my f-stop, as it has a frame on it for hiking. Fully loaded the bag could be around 30lbs easily. hence wheels and handle is great for flights and airports
Wow, what a background, dude you are blessed. Duke from Philly
Yes I am! Thanks

are you really checking that bag????
No. I stated early on in the video you never check you camera gear.
SO this complies with airline sizes for carry-on???
@MrDan1943 it's only 30 liters it should be fine on most flights unless it's a small plane
@@MrDan1943 yes. its same length as my Fstop I take all the time on all my flights
Cool bag! Gotta check dimensions! Thanks!
